The next week was uneventful and doing absolutely nothing was driving me insane. Tyse wouldn’t let me out of his sight, he was afraid I would go and rip my stitches trying to box. I gained like two pounds, from not working out. I was itching to be drenched in sweat and punching the shit out of a bag.

I felt like I was being locked in a cage, I was highly irritated and snapped at everything and everyone. I hate this, I could feel all my emotions piling on top of each other adding stress.

I was going mad. Completely mad. Finally after a week I woke up with Tyse’s arm slung around my waist. I attempted to roll over but Tyse’s muscles flexed keeping me in his firm hold entrapping me.

I tried prying his arm off but it would budge. Why is he so strong? What do I need a fucking crowbar?

“Tyse” I said and he groaned, if this was any other day, I would admire his cuteness and check him out. But this was the day. The day I got to walk without Tyse and start boxing again.

“Tyse” I said louder.

“What?” he asked.

“let me go” I said still truggling with is arm.

“Why?” he asked.

“Because I want to get up” I told him, I had a short temper and I was getting aggravated. I know he hadn’t really done anything but my patience was wearing thin.

“2 more miutes kitten, then I'll hekp you” he said yawning.

“No, my week is over” I told him.

“no it's not” he muttered.

“Yes it is it’s been a full week, I'm allowed to box now let me go” I told him.

“what if you rip your stitches?” he asked me,

“I won't” I said and jumped up as soon as his arm left my waist.  I grabbed the gauze from the dresser and ran downstairs.

I need to stretch, I never usually have to stretch, but I need to let my wolf out form being cramped up in a house with Tyse and I need to run off all my stress.

I went out the back door mind linking Drake, so Tyse wouldn’t freak out, I went back in and wrote a note to Tyse telling him I was going for a run. I knew he would likely over react and freak out, but I needed this.

I stuck it on the fridge and met Drake who had just magically appeared on the back porch.

“What's got you in such a good mood?” he asked.

“lets go” I said urgently pulling my shirt off, I pulled my clothes off hanging them on a tree and let the shift over take my body.

I felt the familiar shiver go down my spine before the cracking of my bones replacing themselves in a new form  began. I felt free, I yipped in joy and Drake was sitting there grinning a wolfy grin at me. He was huge and the same chestnut brown color of his hair, he stood up shaking his fur out.

He nudged me with his nose and took off at full speed. I quickly ran after him enjoying the stretching of my legs.

We ran for a long, he would nudge me and I would nudge back, until it was a full on game. He would jump over me or I would dive under him, we raced. And then we just ran talking about everything under the sun. I was surprised Tyse hadn’t come looking for us or even mind linked Drake, but if he did, Drake didn’t say so.

Eventually I felt a light burn in my legs, but I didn’t stop, I pushed myself harder making Drake push himself to keep up with me. We ran about a quarter of the border, which was defiantly over 60 miles.
