Oh Brent

Hazel Rose:
"Hey sleepyhead wake up! We've reached our destination" Kailey shook me lightly.
I groaned.
"I wanna sleeeeeeep" I whined.
"Everyone's already out and you're laying here alone. You're not here to sleep bud. Wake up and enjoy the NATURE's beauty" She emphasised the word nature.
"Shut up" I mumbled, my eyes still closed.
"Well fine rot alone then"
"OKAY I'm cominggg" I groaned and tapped hardly on the floor. She just smirked.
I stood up moving a hand across my hair and followed Kailey.
As soon as I came out of the bus, I looked around. Greenery everywhere! It was a very impressive place i must say! There were green trees everywhere with different fruits grown on them. Ravishing. Tempting. Mesmorising. Beautiful. Surprisingly, the weather was warm and sunny. The students were roaming here and there, some were finding wood logs for bonfire, for cooking. Some were setting up tents
"COCKROACHH"
I jumped on the sudden loud voice and saw Brent beside me laughing on my reaction.
"Ha ha ha v v funny." I rolled my eyes
"You're sooooo cute Hazelnut" He hugged me tightly. I was unable to breath
"Okay okay control control" I tried to release myself.Yep he was being sarcastic.
"Want something to eat?" He asked.
I nodded.
He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards a wooden bench
"I brought noodles from
Home" he chuckled.
"Noodles" I awkwardly said.
"Yeah. What's wrong with that?" He chuckled. I ignored and grabbed a fork.
He grabbed the other fork and we started to eat together.
"Oh am I disturbing the love birds?" Amber winked. Why is she here? Why can't I eat in peace? Whyyy
"No we're just eating. You can join us too if you want to" Brent shrugged.
"He's just kidding" I whispered. Amber narrowed her eyes subtly.
"Not really" Brent whispered but I nudged him.
"Niall is so jealous" Amber winked and started to look towards right. I moved my gaze to where she was looking and saw Niall starring at us. As soon as we had an eye contact, he looked away.
"Yukh" I whined. Amber started to laugh.

"Students it is the time to sleep. There are 14 big tents. We are going to make groups of some students who will sleep in the same tent. They will also play games and perform different tasks together as a team in this summer camp." The principal, Mr Johnson announced and everyone nodded.
"I'll assign Mrs Miranda for this task." He added.
"Okay young boys and girls let's make groups!" Mrs Miranda cheered but everyone remained silent and passed her a "whatever" look.
"Hazel, Brent, Niall, Louis, Grace and Zayn will be in one tent" She announced.
No no no no. I frowned.
"Annoying Niall check, bad luck check." I said to Brent who just chuckled.
After making the groups, Mrs Miranda ordered us to go inside our tents.

•25 minutes later•

"Louis there will not be any wifi signals here" Niall told Louis.
"If at first you don't succeed, try again" Louis winked.
"How deep" Zayn sarcastically said and rolled his eyes.
"I'm not sleepy." Brent whispered in my ear. He was laying right next to me.
"Why?" I asked. "It was a pretty tiring day. You'll hear me snoring tonight" I shrugged.
"Maybe because the most beautiful girl in the entire universe is sleeping beside me" He smiled and winked.
"Nice joke" I tried my level best not to smile.
"If you really wanna talk then that is the way to get outta the tent" Grace rolled her eyes.
We and Brent exchanged looks and ignored her.

I woke up in the middle of the night due to the snores of Louis. I was quite thirsty so I went outside the tent and saw Niall sitting on one of the fallen log.
"Wassup?" He asked, quite surprised to see me.
"Water." I replied taking a sip from my bottle.
"Cool." He awkwardly said.
"What's the time?" I asked
"3:45 am"  he told me.
"What are you doing then?" I asked confusedly.
"I was sleepless and kind of depressed too" He gave me a small smile.
"Why is that so?" I asked sitting beside him. Why was I even doing that.
He shrugged.
"It's late. You should try to sleep" I patted him.
He just nodded.
I stood up and went inside the tent.
"Where did you go?" Brent asked, his sleepy voice was tempting af.
"Water" I awkwardly said.
He just smiled.
