(Danny's P.O.V)
I open my eyes, the burning brim of my eyelids like a hot iron as I stare blankly into the light. My sleepy vision slowly clearing up as the sunset glow falters. I sit up from the bed where I catch a silhouette. There by the window, a thin pale girl stands. Her hair, long and dripping softly as she wears nothing but a thin layered towel.
I gasp softly.
Could it be?
The girl fidgets with her long artistic fingers as she leans aganist the window ledge, and I smile.
It is true.
I walk to her, my legs weak as I try to function through my exhaustion. I softly embrace her in my arms, the cold chill from her body awaking the butterflies within my belly. But instantly I feel her fragile limped body tense as I pull her near.
"Dan." She hisses as she forces herself forward, her eyes still locked with the morning sun through the glass window.
"Sorry, Kay." I run my hands through my quiff as I watch her amber crystal iris' allur with the landscape of the outside. I could see her face switch as she took in the detail of the abandoned streets. She was so engrossed with people's stories, and their body language because of this. She saw beauty in everything. In the way nature occurred monthly, in the saddest of people and the pain, how that changed them, even the simple worn age of the houses. It was part of why I loved her.
I mean how could it not?
She was just...just so...
"You're just so fascinating." It's hardly a whisper but still she hears it.
Turning she smiled, her teeth gleaming through her closed lips. I breath in her happiness before she flops over to the bed. Swinging her bare legs at the edge, I watched the slim curves with admiration before I realise I'm indeed staring. I feel my face rose in redness as I stumble through my words.
"I uh, I was just-"
"Breakfast."
"What?"
"I want breakfast."
"Oh...right." I sway against the window in discomfort as her childlike self scowls up at my awkwardness.
"Danny, I'm starving. And plus I'm naked." She snaps and I bounce back In slight shock, my back burning with the ache of the ledge.
"But I...I mean I've see you naked Kay."
"Oh for fuck's sake Dan I'm not some-"
"I know, I know, sorry I'll get you something now."
She groans as I slope from the hostel room. Quietly shutting the door behind me, I smirk brefily.
Tough one to handle eh? But I suppose it was another thing I simply adored of her.
(Glen's P.O.V)
I fidget with the steaming hot mug placed within my palms. The faded smoke from the tea flowing through my skin as I inhale the scent.
The lads are around me, laughing idiotically at the chasing players across the screen as I try to focus.
But I can't.
Eachtime I close my eyes- I saw him. I saw Danny as though he were right there before my eyes...
"I need another beer can."
I saw his dazzling iris', glistening with caramal gold.
"Get your own, Mark."
I saw his smile, charming yet so sincere.
"Oh come on Ben mate, i don't want to miss the game."
I saw his hair, dark and tousled perfectly to a styled quiff.
"Well maybe I want to see it too."
I miss him...
"Guys please be quiet."
So much...
"Shut it Rod."
So very, very much...
"But I'm watching the game and I can't-"
"Shut the fuck up!"
"Mark!"
"You shut the fuck up too Benji!"
Yet they don't seem to give a fuck.
"Oh for fuck-"
"Mark will you please shut up!" I stand up, the scowled hot tea burning down my wrist as I shake with anger. "Our best friend is missing and you-"
"Sit down Glen!" He shouted, his eyes dark and hard against me.
"No Mark! Danny's missing and you don't give a fuck!"
"Glen sit down and stop-"
"You just think you own the place don't you?"
"You what?!" Mark snaps as he stands up, fists clenched by his sides.
"You heard me! You think you're everything but you're not mate, you're not!"
Ben tugs at his arm as he tries to barge towards me. His face is purple and pulsing with forbidden veins which causes my insides to quiver in fear but still I carry on.
"You only care for yourself. Not me. Not Danny. Not anyone. You're so stuck up your own arse!"
Then suddenly he's face to face with me. The raven orbs within his eyes raging, louder and louder.
"What's that?!"
I gulp ready to spout my rant out even longer but the moment is gone. I stare up in his dark presence, my body trembling slightly with the evil lurk within his eyes.
"I'm going after Danny." I whimper, dumping my mug and shakily walking from him.
He chuckles after me- a harsh, nasty chuckle.
"Just because you're in love with him doesn't mean he'll chose you."
The room gasps as I freeze by the door. I could almost feel his smirk as my heart crumbled up in ash burns from the confession.
"You're in love wit-"
But I slam the door on them before running wildly from the abandoned coach.
