Blame anyone for us,
But you'll never get over the loss.
Everyone made a terrible fuss,
But only for a single day.

We were the biggest of all,
One of the wonders of the world.
We could have eaten people whole,
Instead we lived in so called harmony.

They knew what they were doing,
Decided to ignore our agony.
This relationship needs glueing,
They waited until the sea turned red.

Our kind were older than you,
We lived before your first breath.
In comparison, we were wiser too,
You never gave us a chance.

Now we live among the stars,
Among the dead balls of glow.
Laying on moons and flying around Mars,
How you regret making us go.
