The door to the class opened suddenly making Ms. Lowe stop talking and glare at the person who was currently hidden from my view.
"Why are you late Ms. De Rosa?" Ms. Lowe says not removing her glare from her least favorite student. "Sorry, Patricia but Mrs. Deming wanted to speak to me after class." Asasia says calling the teacher by her first name knowing it'd piss her off even more.
"It's Ms. Lowe! Take a seat." By this time she was steaming and Asasia gave her a gentle smile before turning to the class.
Her gorgeous blue eyes lock with mine and she smiles at me. Okay, I admit, I have had a crush on Asasia since the third grade. But, she was always popular and way out of my league.
The moment she sits in the seat beside me, I realize it was the only empty seats was the one by me or by the football players.
"Hi, Terrance, right?" She questions turning to me. I nod, my eyes widening at the first interaction between us since fifth grade.
She smiles her perfectly white and straight teeth coming into view. Damn, she's beautiful. "As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted." Ms. Lowe says sending a glare at Asasia as she sent her a dazzling smile.
"Your next project will be due in 1 month. I want you, and the person sitting next to you, to open up to each other. At the end of the 1 month mark, you will present a drawing of whatever represents your partner. I expect you all to use this time wisely and maybe at the end of this month period you will have everlasting friendships."
Asasia turns to me and smiles. Seems like the only emotion she ever shows is happiness. "Well, partner. Better buckle up because you're in for a hell of a ride."
The look of fear must have shown on her face making her laugh. God, her laugh is even perfect.
"Don't look so scared. You won't die." She says before pausing and looking off into the distance before looking back at me. "Hopefully."
~~Yes, I know this is a short chapter but they will be getting a lot longer throughout the book.
