Intervention

Mutsumi was intending to officially ask Shinomiya if he would be his boyfriend, but he didn't want to cause any awkwardness. Shinomiya seemed really comfortable with him right now, and Mu wondered if not labeling the relationship was okay with him.

Close friends who kiss and cuddle often? With occasional grinding?

Is that normal?

Mutsumi's phone vibrated, and he opened to a text message from Shinomiya.

"hey we should be boyfriends 👉👌"

~~~ Ten Minutes Earlier ~~~

"...What are you doing here?" Shinomiya raised an eyebrow at the three teens that stood at his front door. Nishina, Igarashi, and Nanashima.

"Are you alone?" Nanashima asked.

"Yeah, my mom is still at work," replied Shi. "Where's Serinuma? And Mutsumi?"

"We didn't invite them," Igarashi said at the same time Nishina said "Kae's at a dentist appointment."

"This is an intervention," announced Nanashima. "We're sick of you and Mu always sneaking off to have sex."

"We haven't had sex!!" Shinomiya shouted.

"Nevertheless," shrugged Nishina. "We need to use your phone."

"What! No!" Shinomiya backed up, eyes glancing at where he left his phone, unlocked, on the couch.

Igarashi followed his gaze and bolted to the couch the same time he did.

Shinomiya was too slow, Iga snatched it up first.

"GIVE ME MY PHONE!" Shinomiya jumped at his unlocked phone that Igarashi held up high.

"Hold him down, Nana, a text needs to be sent," Nishina chuckled evilly, taking the phone from Iga to type a message on it.

"You better stop!!" Protested Shinomiya, struggling while Nanashima held him back.

Nishina gave the phone back to the tiny guy, laughing. "Figure it out, munchkin."

The three older teens said their goodbyes and exited in a good mood.

Shinomiya opened the phone again to see what they did.

Mutsumi is calling.

The boy fumbled the phone, startled, and dropped it on the wood floor.

He cursed loudly, picking it back up, thankful that for once it didn't break.

"Shinomiya?" Mutsumi's soft voice said through the phone.

"Yeah, um yes," said Shi.

"I'm coming over," the older boy stated, hanging up.
