Love Is Never Lost

One: Nova

Red filled my vision. I have no idea what I'm doing now or if I hurt Peter. Which is very scary.

I don't even know if he'll get off this island alive.

I am furious, but not at Peter. Oh no, I couldn't ever be mad at him. I was furious at the green beast that had taken me over.

The green creature had no heart. No heart at all. All he had was an organ pumping blood where his heart should be.

There's no more Norman Osborne, just a green creature that called himself that. Just a green, twisted crazy beast that doesn't show even a bit of compassion. None. Nada. Nothing. No even towards his own son, whom he tried to kill.

Slowly, the red began to turn into blue. I began to think about the bad things the Goblin did, and suddenly, I was thrown into a memory, a bad on in fact.

"What's that?" Harry asked. I smiled.

"See problem solved, the web-head is coming our way," Luke stated, grinning.

"How many costumes does he have?" Ava asked. I frowned.

"That's not Spider-Man," I said, the team looked at me funny.

"If it's not Spidey then what can it be?" Ava asked.

"It looks like a simbiote," Danny said.

"Venom?" Luke asked. I shook my head.

"That doesn't look like Venom," I said, getting a bad feeling. The thing crashed through the window and attacked us.

"Ouch," I whispered as I crashed into the wall.

"It's defiantly pointier," Luke said.

The thing jumped down and attacked Ava, screaming that horrid sound.

"Looks like someone gave it too much caffeine," I joked as Danny got taken down. It attacked me and sent me flying out the window. I cashed into a building and blacked out momentarily.

When I came to, I flew back to the building to see Venom standing there in Harry's place and Peter was on the ground, holding his stomach. That made my heart clench a bit.

Venom shot a web and disappeared through the window. Peter ran forward and looked at me, making my heart flutter massively.

"Sam! Where's my backpack?" Peter shouted, frantically.

I quickly found the pack and gave it to him. He gave me his signature smile in thanks and ran to go and get his costume on, leaving me- blushing like an idiot- behind. Luckily, I managed to hide my blush from the rest of the team.

"Sam!" I heard Peter's voice scream and my vision cleared and I saw the island once more.

I saw Peter running away from the Goblin and towards the forest. Well, limping was more like it.

My heart clenched tightly at the scene.

"Kill him slave!" The Goblin commanded.

My body moved forward, but I managed to move my hand so the blast I had in it hit the tree next to him.

I watched as Peter disappeared within the thick trees. I mentally smiled.

HA! TAKE THAT GOBI!!!!

I felt good and happy that I resisted, but then my body filled with dread. Peter was limping though a forest filled with Zeus knows what. With a possibly broken leg.

Dear Zeus, he's screwed.
