A loud yowl sounded throughout the forest."Stay away!" A she-cat hissed with her neck fur raised, slashing a dogs nose, standing infront of her frightened kits.
"Momma I'm scared!" A kitten meweled.
"Avril go with your brother, now-" She was cut off by the sound of loud barking.
"Now!" She said more forcefully, pushing them back."Avril, c'mon!" Her brother nudged her.
"But momma!" Avril meweled in fear, crouching a bit.
"Just run! I'll find you afterwards! Oliver, take her and run!" She hissed, turning to look at them.
Oliver nodded, Picking up Avril up by the scruff and turning around."Momma!" Avril meweled.
The she-cats neck fur raised as she looked ahead at the dogs.She closed her eyes, stepping forward into darkness.
