Time of our lives (Nozomi x Eli)

Chapter one

I stared blankly at the scene in front of me. My emerald eyes, usually sparkling with life and happiness, were now filled with a dull existence. There was no emotion behind them, which was strange. After witnessing what most would describe as a horrific experience, my mind was blank. I couldn't move. I couldn't speak. I heard the voices all around me, murmuring and trying to speak to me. I barely registered the sound, everything was blank. My mind, my heart, my soul. My mind couldn't process anything. My heart was far beyond shattered to feel any emotion. My soul was beyond destroyed at this point.

"Miss Tojo, we're going to have to ask you to come with us. Please if you would just come with us, we can help you" a soft voice spoke from somewhere behind me. I barely registered the sound of their voice, my mind far gone now. I could hear the murmurs and whispers growing louder, trying to grab my attention. I carefully raised a hand to the side of my face, feeling a trail of wetness slowly cascading down my face. I wasn't able to identify whether it was blood or my own tears. I took a shaky breath in, slowly turning around to face the people around me. They all stared at me as if something was wrong.. Which there was.

"Miss Tojo, if you would please just-" the same voice from before spoke, a little louder and more forceful.

"No" my voice came out, soft and barely there yet strong and demanding. I looked towards the person who spoke to me, my eyes holding a slight fire within them. It felt strange, knowing that my feelings were starting to return.

"I'm not going.. I don't want to and you can't make me!" After I said that, I quickly ran off into a random direction. I wasn't sure if they would follow me, or try to find me, but there was one thing I knew. I had to get away, away from the pain. Away from the trauma that I knew was going to come. If it wasn't already there. I knew that everything would only get worse. But.. as long as I had Eli-chi by my side, along with the other girls, the pain would be easier to handle.

A/N: Yes, I know this chapter is short. Chapters in the future will be roughly this length or maybe a little longer. I'm going to keep chapters short (unless it's a one shot) as it is easier for me that way. I'll leave you all guessing as to what happened to Nozomi, until the next few chapters at least hehe.
