Kendra's POV
I was trying to concentrate on my my quiz and stop staring at the hot new kid when I felt a pair of eyes on me and I quickly glanced around only to meet the swirls of hazelnut, flecked with gold that were the eyes of the new kid Jake. God that dude was hot! With brown hair just the slightest bit highlighted by the sun with flecks of gold to match his eyes. Perfectly chiseled cheekbones, check, a gorgeously tanned complexion, check. He was scruffy yet handsome enough just to show I'm wild but I Can Be Tamed. He was wearing a black leather jacket with a plain white T-shirt and jeans. Casual yet comfy ,yet handsome as hell. This dude could give Brad Pitt a run for his money. Seriously. And for some strange reason he was staring at me. But I was staring at him too. Blushing furiously, I wiped my face to see if i had something on it in nervousness and looked around to see if anyone was laughing at me. But only he had noticed, so I put my face on the desk and giggled quietly underneath. Happy that no one else has noticed the private moment we had shared.
Lunch bell rings!!!
The sound of students rushing out of class was a relief to me and after I thought every one else had left, I got up to go to lunch. But I was not alone, Jake Davis the cousin of Alan Davis, my tormentor since Pre K was sitting on his desk grinning sexily at me. The mysterious brown eyes were mocking me as I pushed my glasses up my nose in a nervous gesture and blushed.
"You didn't honestly think you could get rid of me that easily," he said, "I caught you staring at me"."What do u want Jake" I asked. Hoping that he didn't want to tease me like his cousin Alan. Even though it wouldn't really surprise me.
"I just wanted to tell you to take a picture it will last longer",he said.
"Shut up,Jake," I said, annoyed as he chuckled softly.
"The funny thing is," he said," You know my name but I don't know yours,Beautiful."
"It's kendra," I said laughing as we walked out of the class room to the cafeteria.
I could feel the deathly glares of other girls as we walked past. I never felt so nervous but that's the welcome to my new life as friends with the hottest guy in school.
We soon split up and headed in different directions. I felt a bit nervous to be removed from my invisibility status with most of the school so suddenly. Who could blame me? I felt an urge to go home because if looks could kill I would be seven feet under the ground due to the glares of every girl in the school.
