"Hey dad." This was the third time in 6 months that my dad has called me. He never calls. Only when he feels like, I guess. I was in my room after a long day at work. I had done my nightly routine but I was in the kitchen grabbing a snack.

"How are you, Sara. Its been a while." I rolled my eyes and sat down on the couch.

"You know that could change if you could call me more." I replied. I turned on the television but nothing but the same old stuff.

"Oh, honey. You know I would but working as the Gov-"

"Governor takes your family time and you wish you could change it. Yeah dad, I know." I said as I completed his sentence. He always says the same thing.

"See, you understand. I got to go now. Love you Sara."

"Love you too dad." I threw my phone away and cuddled up into my blanket.

I closed my eyes and drifted off too sleep.

"Wake up Michael."

"Michael! Michael!"

"They're going to do a count, man. You need to get up."

I jumped from my bed as I felt cold water hit my face. I grabbed my face, but it was dry. I panicked and looked around. The tv was still on and it was dark in my living room. I stood there with my hand in my face, trying to understand what was going on.

"Why in the world did I hear Michael's name?" I asked myself. Thinking I was still asleep and dreaming still, I walked to my bedroom and slept on my bed.

"Hey." I said as I walked in with a large coffee in my hand. I sat down in my office as I let out a long yawn.

"Looks like someone didn't sleep well." I looked at her and I started giggling.

"What?" she asked. She rolled her chair next to me as I was spacing out, trying to remember what I dreamed about.

"Nothing. I just...I had the weirdest dream last night." I said. I got up and I got ready for my patients. I looked through the files and I saw Michael's name, appointment at two. I smiled.

"Ha, I knew I was going to see that beautiful smile of yours." she said as she winked.

"Prisoner" I said as I stared at his mugshot.
