Surprise!

               My mom grabs my hand and walks me to the table where my dad is sitting down as well. I then notice to boxes. Gift boxes. Both neatly wrapped. Caroline and I look at eachother puzzled. 

                "Did i forget someones birthday or?" I say blankly.

             "No, Honey just take a seat girls!" My mom replies. We do as she says. We grab our seats in front of the gifts.

                "Then what's going on?" Caroline adds. I notice my dad is holding up his camera. I don't really think much of it. My dad records everything. I actually really hate being on camera. I don't feel like argueing so I just smile at the camera. 

                 "Open it!" My mom says excitingly. I tear open the lid of the box and take out the wrapping paper inside. 

                  "Oh..a book...Thanks..." Caroline trys to act surprise. I notice i have a book in my box too. It's a really lame book too. What was the point of this? I then notice my parents laughing to eachother. I look at them oddly.

                   "Was this some prank?" I let out a fake giggle.

                 "No, open the books!" My dad smile. I then take a deep breath and open my book. Before i can find what's inside i look over to Caroline. Her eyes open big and she covers her mouth and then looks at me. 

                  "What is it?" I exclaim. I turn the pages trying to look at what could be so amazing. Then it fell out. A piece of paper. I unraveled the piece of paper to find a picture of One Direction? It takes me a while, but then i realize these are tickets to their concert. I look back at Caroline we both have the same shocked expression. Then i look back at my parents. I immediately stand up and hug my mom. Caroline hugs my dad. We literally say thank you a billion times. 

                 "Where'd you get these?" I ask.

                 "Don't worry about it!" My mom smiles. I then notice tears are streaming down my face. I am so happy. Words cannot express how i feel. This tickets are ours! No one can take that away from us this time! "The seats are kind of further back though, but they were the best we could get."

               "Aw, mom! Thanks so much! We don't care how close the seats are! Atleast we are going to be in the same stadium with our future husbands!" Everyone laughs at my remark. I pretend i don't get why their laughing. 

               "Were going to go get something for you guys to eat! Do you guys want to come?" My dad offers.

              "No, thanks dad! We need some alone time to fangirl." He smirks and then my mom and him leave. I look to Caroline and we start hopping around screaming. 

               "Can you believe your parents are letting us go?! They are so awesome!!" She cries.

              "I seriously cannot believe it!" I then hear a knock at the door. "They must of forget their credit cards..." I then open the door to Jake. I slam the door in his face and look at Caroline. She must see the hurt in my eyes. Even though I try to act like i got over him, I truly don't think I can. He literally broke my heart. I put my heart on the table for him and he chopped it up. 

               "Are you okay?" She asks.

              "No...shh" I tell her to shush because i can hear Jake talking. 

              "Im sorry Georgia! I've never felt something like this before! I mean with you i  felt something i've never felt before! I want you! I didn't mean to hurt you! I was going to break up with her! I did break up with her actually already! Please! Please, forgive me!" I can hear some truth behind his words, but i dont care. He didn't even try to stand up for me when she was calling me out. 

                 I open the door and say, "Things could never be the same! Not even if i wanted them to be! You are exactly the type of guy i've ben avoiding all my life! You are the reason i'm scared to be vulnerable! You are the reason...You are the reason I feel like im worthless!" I shut the door again in his face and run to the bathroom and lock Caroline out. I don't want to hear that everything is fine or that things will get better because they won't! How can i be so happy then be so angry over this guy? I hear the door open again. I suspect to see Jake again trying to convince Caroline to let him in, but it's just my mom.

                  She looks at me and clearly sees the tears streaming down my face. Her mood changes quickly and she runs over to me. Oh no, I am not a person who shares lovey dovey feelings with their mom....This is going to be awkward....
