Spring (free verse)
Snow geese flying north
Light spring jacket
And animals come forth
Out out winter dens
Ice has melted
Wind breezes by
Just oh so gently
And with it the birds fly
Slightly chilly
But better than before
Because the sun is just right
And warms me to the core
