Lila and Roberta were walking down moor avenue. It was going to be Halloween that night, it was the girls favourite holiday. At the end of the avenue a massive, looming mansion stood tall and intimidating. It had been there before Lilas grandad (who was 70) was born. Every one in the neighbourhood always talked about it and adults rushed their kids past it if they had to pass the mansion to go to the co-op. No one for 60 years has gone inside it as Lilas grandad friend stayed inside the house for 6 hours and never came out, even the police couldn't find poor young Alan, who was 10 at the time. Roberta laughed when Lila told her the story of her grandad and Alan, "that's a load of rubbish,he's just trying to scare you out of getting in to any mischief!" Roberta seemed adamant. "I guess." Roberta and Lila stood outside the house, the door was slightly open. "Lila, I have just had an amazing idea! You could do the 24 hour challenge in a haunted mansion for your YouTube channel!" Lila shrugged. " it could be fun and will defo gain more views. So why not?!" Roberta shivered,"you're on ya own thought,I ain't coming with ya!" Lila's face changed abruptly, "why not,you just said it's not even haunted." Roberta smiled, "my cousin sleeping over so soz . I'll stay for like an hour though." Lila looked a bit more relieved as it was only 10am! 36 hours to go, most people would be everywhere trick or treating at night. Lila had told her parents that she was sleeping at Roberta's and Robeta was in on the plan. The door was opened a bit and the girls looked around to see if anyone was watching them. As soon as they knew the coast was clear, they made there way inside. "I can stay for like 6 hours Lila." 6 hours went fast and Roberta had gone back home. Lila  didn't know what to do so she began to vlog. The mansion had 3 floors with long corridors and massive rooms. Inside everything was a glowy green. As soon as Lila turned off the camera ,she heard a bang from the 3rd floor even though she was on the 1st. It the dressing table, been thrown at the door continuously. Lila jumped in fright and wished she hadn't done the challenge. Suddenly a door began opening and closing but this time Lila filmed it. This made the slamming louder, as if something was angry...
