When we are admitted in a hospital, there are certain bands put on our hands. There are various types. The most famous is the white & red bands.
The white band is placed on the arms of people admitted in the hospital. The red band is placed on the arms of the people who have died.
There was a surgeon, who worked the night shift at the hospital. He just got done with an operation. He entered the elevator and there was a lady there. He was heading towards the basement. They made conversation. As he reached the basement, there was another lady walking towards them. He pressed the close button immediately and pressed the button of the highest floor.
The woman thought it was rude of the doctor to do that. She asked him why he did it. He said, "Didn't you see her wrist!? She had a red band. I just operated on that lady and she died!"
The woman smiled and looked at him, lifting her arm, and asked, "Something like this?"
