Chapter 6

_Charity's perspective_

It has been a few weeks and already I have grown so attached to them but mainly Vik

I have told Vik everything and we promised never to keep secrets he knows me inside and out now and I don't mind

And as I was getting changed

I hear Vik telling

"Hey Charity do you know where my leather shoes are" Vik yells

Gosh he is so forgetful what would he do without me

"They are by my door from yesterday dummy" I giggle

"What would I do without you" He says happily

"I don't know but it would really suck without this gorgeous face" I laugh

"Nah mate you couldn't live without my beautiful face either" He says laughing back

"So why are in such a rush my brother Vikky" I question him giggling at his nickname Vikky

"Well I am over to Lachlan's house" He says happily walking out of my room and shutting the door

I just looked down and sigh it's like he doesn't want to hang around me anymore he is always over at Lachlan's house now

I start to feel the sadness kick in no, I have done so well at keeping it at bay these last couple of weeks

I can't take it anymore the urge for the cool metal against my skin is calling me

I run into the bathroom and get my razor blade out from my little makeup bag and slice

Cutting over and over and over Again

Newly formed cuts litter my skin once aging but I can't stop

Needing more of the good sensation I accidentally cut to deep and yelp in pain

I hear feet run and stop outside the bathroom door, great

"Baby, is that you are you alright" I hear Josh ask concern through his voice

"I'm f- fine Josh" I say my voice cracking and stuttering

"No your not I can tell baby I'm coming in whether you like it or not" Josh says kicking the door in but not breaking it, wow gg well played

"Baby why" he says choking back tears as he looks at my wrists in shock

"I'm sorry, I just feel like I'm not good enough for you" I say, great now I'm crying

"Baby, that is not true and it will never be I love you sweetie" Josh says sadly

"I love you too...Dad" I smile still crying he just runs my back in circles calming me down
