The only person that could make me feel better was Nash. He knew everything about me and always knew how to make me feel better. He helped me get through my dads death.
I grabbed my phone and a jacket and ran out the door. Nash's house was just a couple blocks down and took no time at all to get to. Not bothering to knock I ran into the house. Nash was sitting on the couch and I just ran up and hugged him.
"Woah. what's wrong Maddi?'
"B-b-Brent broke u-up with m-me"
I stuttered. I just kept crying into his shirt. Absorbing his warmth, until I noticed someone else on the couch.
I pulled away from Nash and looked and the boy.
"Oh, Maddi this is Cameron"
"Hi"
I wasn't really in the mood to talk much. And Cameron could tell that I wasn't in the mood to talk so he just smiled sweetly and sympathetically.
"I'm gonna go lay down. ok?"
I told Nash. I walked up to his room and got under the covers of his bed and closed my eyes.
Cameron's P.O.V
Maddi was one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen. How come Nash never told me about her?
"Dude, I know you like her"
Nash said snapping me out of my thoughts.
I didn't know what to say.
"Just don't make a move quite yet. Give her some time, ya know she just broke up"
Nash always knew exactly what I was thinking. It was kinda creepy at times.
"Why haven't you told me about her?"
I asked Nash.
"Cause I wasn't sure that if I introduced her to my friends if she would still be friends with me. I was worried she'd forget about me"
Nash had a look of concern on his face.
"From what I just saw it looks like nothing could tear you two apart'
After our little talk we finished the movie we were watching. After the movie was over Nash told me to go wake up Maddie for dinner. I slowly made my way up to Nash's room. I opened the door to find a beautiful girl asleep. I walked up to her and gently placed my hand on her shoulder.
"Maddi, wake up dinners ready"
I said not sure what exactly to say.
"Mmm, go away Nash"
"It's not Nash is Cameron"
Her eyes shot open.
"Oh, sorry."
She slowly got out of bed and I followed her down stairs. When we reached the kitchen there were two spots left at the table right next to each other. Nash winked at me as we both sat down. I hope Maddi didn't see that.
