Chapter Twenty

A/N - This is a continuation from where Arthit told Kongpob he wasn't with Prem when Kongpob was giving him the silent treatment in chapter twelve.

Present day Prem (aka the villain)

Prem was sure Kongpob had seen him.  He had seen Kongpob and Arthit talking in the cafeteria and headed towards them.  Kongpob turned to leave upon seeing Prem.  Arthit turned back and looked at Prem who was waving at him.

Arthit pretended not to see him.

Prem stopped to see what was happening.  Arthit joined a confused looking Kongpob.  He decided to follow them.

He couldn't hear their conversation.  But from where Prem stood he saw Kongpob's angry scowl turn to a gleeful smile.

What was going on between Arthit and Kongpob?  The way Kongpob looked at Arthit made Prem uncomfortable.  Kongpob was listening to whatever Arthit was saying with adoration.  

Prem had seen the freshman holding hands with a pretty girl a few times around campus.  Was Kongpob the reason Arthit wasn't interested in him anymore?  It was unlike Arthit to fall for someone already taken.  It was even more unlikely for Kongpob to be cheating on his girlfriend.

After that day Prem noticed Arthit and Kongpob were always together in the cafeteria.  They seemed quite close.  He never liked Kongpob to begin with.  Seeing him having a better relationship with Arthit made Prem furious.

Prem had to do something.  He was not going to let Arthit slip away from him again.

"Excuse me N'."

Prem had been looking for Kongpob's girlfriend.  He finally found out she was a student from another faculty.

"Sawadee kha P'," the girl answered politely.

"Are you N' Kongpob's girlfriend?"

The girl looked taken aback.  "May I know why you are asking P'?"

"It's for something important, are you?" Prem asked again.

The girl nodded.

"What's your name?"

"Pai, P'."

"N' Pai, I think your boyfriend is cheating on you."

Pai was angry at his words, "With all due respect P,' I don't think you can say something like that!  I don't even know who you are!"

"N', I told you it's important.  Has Kongpob been the same around you these past days?"

"P'.. that... I.. he is an engineering student. He is busy."

"I don't think you believe your own words.  But, I think we can help each other."

"What do you mean P'?"

"The one who is causing your boyfriend to waver is someone I have feelings for."

"P' my Kong would never cheat on me!"
