Chapter 5

Brent POV

In class Lisa looked a little pale. I was worried. She's not ready for a kid. She's only 16 and she already has a tough life as it is. I just feel really bad that I didn't stop this bullying crap before. And she also gets weird when I want to come inside her house. It's like she's hiding something from me.

Lisa POV

I feel really sick I think I need to throw up but then that would let everyone know about me. then Brent would find out and cover for me. I can't let him but then again I don't want people to know that I was raped. OMG ok I can't hold it in I'm gonna..........

(Class gasps in disgust)

Brent looked at me and picked me up and helped me to the nurse. I mean I'm 2 months pregnant now and I'm gonna start showing soon. We arrived at the nurse.

"Uh yea she just threw up" Brent said.

"Oh ok I'll call your parents to come pick you up" the nurse said.

"NO!" I yelled.

Brent and the nurse looked at me weirdly and wide eyed.

"Sorry I just don't think that's necessary" I said trying to cover.

The nurse nodded and let me settle down on a bench. Brent sat next to me.

"Ok Lisa you have been acting real weird about anything involving your parents what's going on?" Brent asked.

"Um nothing" I said trying to play it off.

"Lisa look me in the eyes and tell me the truth" he said.

I looked at him and for a second I knew he was serious like he wasn't ever going to leave me or let anyone or anything harm me. I felt.....SAFE.

"I've been staying at my cousins because my parents beat me with a belt and whip, if I ever go back there I'm afraid they will kill the baby and I don't want to lose this baby even though I didn't want one" I said tearing up.

Brent pulled me in close and kissed me on the forehead.

"Lisa you can stay with me if you want I don't mind" Brent said.

"Oh I ca...." I was interrupted

"Lisa take my offer, I will always make sure your safe" Brent said.

We went back to class and as soon as we stepped inside the classroom everyone was staring.

"What!" Brent yelled to the class.

"So who's the daddy??!" Alyssa asked.

Oh no Brent is gonna cover for me.

"I am!" Brent yelled mad.

Alyssa was shocked and she looked like she wanted to kill me.

"Wow that is.....something" she said sad.

The bell rang and we exited the classroom. On our way out we saw a sign for talent show.

" We should do the talent show!" Brent said excited.

"Oh uh I don't know Brent I really don't have any talent" I said

"I bet your a good singer" he said

"How do you know?" I asked.

"Because I do meet me outside my house today after school" he said

"Ok" is all I could say.
