My mind was gone as she the woman told us the unidentified African American woman was in her late 40's and the cause of death was stabbing and blood shot trauma to the head. I swallowed hard as she was about to lift the cover sheet...
"Wait "... i yelled out causing everyone to stop and look at me. I looked over at Ashlei "I can't look Ashlei I can't" I said as my voice trembled.
Ashlei's eyes watered... deep down Ashlei knew it was a strong possibility this was mom but me on the other hand wasn't ready to accept that. I turnt my head and bite down on my bottom lip while still holding Cayden's as my eyes started to water, She gave the woman a nod to lift the sheet and with that she did so...
Next all we heard we're loud hurtful screams come from Ashlei...
"Noooooooooooo Mama" she screamed out as her weak body fall to the floor before Ty picked her up and held her.
Still looking away I blinked twice to see if i was dreaming, but i wasn't from the scream that came from Ashlei. Tears fall from my eyes as Cayden pulled me in and held me tight,I cried like a baby on his chest.
The two police officers informed us that she was found on a side road this morning and that they had no leads as of now. Me and Ashlei we're hurt, despite our difference with mommy she was still our mom and we loved her. She was tryna do right and we both were full ready to forgive her.
The little bit of time i spent with my mom had all came to a quick end because Now she's Gone....
