Neesan's POV: As I passed out, I let my spirit connect to that of Kira's. When I finally reached it, I sealed the connection and opened my eyes. I was in her soul. It was unlike any souls I'd seen before. There were only five doors labeled in a room filled with them. Family. Friends. Love. Future. And past. I had no clue where in her soul I would need to search for the real Kira.
I looked at my tattoo. A faint glow. Her soul is alive in here somewhere. I will find her. And thus began my search.
I opened the door leading to family. When I stepped through, I found myself floating in what looked like space. All around me were images of people I didn't recognize. But I did see y/n. She was in a lot of the images. I saw words too.
Mom
Dad
Real mom
Real dad
Y/n
KimiA group of images and feelings belonged to each word, although there were no images for "Real Mom" and "Real Dad". "So she had a family before she met y/n..." I decided after searching through images for about ten minutes and checking my tattoo each time, that Kira wasn't here.
I opened the door, and stepped back into the room. One down, four to go.
I opened the door to Friends, and stepped through.
This time, I was in a field, and the people who's house I'd raided were there all talking and laughing happily. The blonde one was drinking ale with the silver haired one. What looked to be a small child floated happily on a blanket talking to y/n. A giant with pigtails was also sitting cross legged talking with a silver haired beauty and a boy/girl(?) with pink hair and glasses about some book he was reading. Everyone was happy. They suddenly looked over at me.
"Kira? What are you doing all the way over there?" Y/n asked. I looked down at myself, and saw not my body, but Kira's. "Are you alright? Here, have some ale to cheer you up!" The blonde one said grabbing my hand and pulling me over to the beer. If I'm in Kira's body, there's a likely chance that the real Kira isn't here. I need to check out the other doors. Something compelled me to look over at Y/n, and when I did so, I saw her almost dreamily gazing at the blonde guy with a hint of sorrow. The blonde guy had started to talk to the silver haired beauty, and the two were laughing happily. I wonder what's going on there...whatever. It doesn't matter right now. I need to check out the next room. I quickly exited before anyone could question me.
I sighed. "Soul searching is exhausting." I looked at the next door. Love. I swear to god if this is filled with hearts and notice me senpai and shit I'm leaving. I groaned opening the door, and stepping in.
This was not what I expected. I walked into what literally looked like a movie theatre, but surrounded by question marks. I was guessing she wasn't sure of who she loved, or maybe she didn't know she loves him yet. As I looked up, I saw on the screen several images of the silver haired guy. Most of them were of him cockily smirking. A weird tablet like thing appeared in front of me. It had a list of different events. I scrolled through. There were at least 30 and all had the name Ban in it. "I don't have time to watch all of these...wait...maybe I do...after all, they still have to physically trap her as well..." I decided I'd watch them all, but be as quick as possible.
The first one was labeled "Ban when I was training". I clicked on it, and immediately, a video began. It was in her perspective, and she was dueling with y/n using dual swords against y/n's sword. Kira seemed to be putting up a good fight. Y/n's shirt was accidentally torn right down the middle. She immediately blushed seeing as the group of people I had yet to identify were all looking at her, and each boy, except for the pink haired one, was madly red. "AAAHHH!!!!" Y/n quickly ran away back to a house that looked suspiciously like a pig...I know, insane.
After she had left, the silver haired guy, I assume he was ban, offered to train with her. "But you don't use weapons." She pointed out. He grabbed her dual swords. "Exactly. If those ever get taken from you, and you can't immediately use your magic, you need to at least be decent in hand to hand combat. I know you tried it before, but you're going to try again." (Idk if ban sounds ooc if he does sorry) Kira groaned, but took a stance.
She failed. Badly. Within ten seconds, Ban had her pinned down to the ground and was now hovering over her body. It was awkward, being pinned down by a guy. I mean, it was in her perspective, so it felt like I was being pinned down by the guy she didn't know she loved. Ban smirked. "Based on your blush I'd say you're enjoying the view?" "N-not even baka!" She pushed him off of her, and the clip ended.
Not wasting time, I clicked on the next one. "Shower incidents with Ban" Uh oh. I had a feeling I was going to regret clicking on this. It was still in her perspective. She walked down some stairs and knocked on a door. "BAN! I NEED MY HAIRBRUSH!" When there was no answer, she called his name again. He still didn't answer. She groaned and opened the door. She grabbed her hair brush off of the counter and turned around.
Well, Ban happened to walk out at the exact same time. Let me specify. He walked out of the shower. "Holy shit!" He yelled reaching for something, anything to cover up. Unfortunately, his towel was on the counter Kira was currently standing by. Kira quickly yelped and covered her eyes. "I'm so sorry!" "Get the hell out!" "I will I'm going I'm go-" Of course. My sister walks into the wall. "Holy hell what did I walk into?" Ban sighed and placed a hand on her shoulder guiding her out the door. "His hand was really soft...and warm..." Kira thought quickly shutting the door behind her. Well. I didn't want to see that.
28 clips later, and the real Kira was nowhere to be found. I exited the theater of love, and entered the room of doors.
