The Fate of Being Alone
Hibari once had a childhood friend named Akane. She is a beautiful girl with a snowy white with pale blue hair complexion and baby blue eyes to match them.
They were so close that you would imagine him cuddling with a cute girl.
But, there came a time where the girl had to say fare well. It was when they were 8 years old. To prevent forgetting each other, they made a promise and left a gift to each other.
"Nee, Kyo, please don't forget me, okay? And when I'm away please don't replace me, do you understand?" Akane pleaded.
"Sure! I won't forget your words...," Kyoya showed a close eyed smile. He look at her face once again only to see a sad expression on her face, "What wrong Aka?"
"Kyo, I know this is sudden and I also know we were too early for this, but I can't contain my feelings anymore... I-i lo--" Akane was about to finish wahat she said when Kyoya cutted her words off by putting his index finger on her lips.
He placed both of his hands on her face and said, "Akane, don't continue your words. I know what you feel right now and it hurts me to see you leaving, but please, promise me, the next time we'll meet, let's not be just friends, let's be more than that, and that will be the time we'll exchange those words. Right now, all I can say us that I will miss you." Kyoya forced a smile while crying. Akane hugged Kyoya as tight as she could and placed her head on his shoulder.
"Kyo, I have an idea on how we won't forget of each other." Kyoya broke the hug. "What do you mean?"
"I have my mom incrypted our names separately in two rings. I will keep the ring with your name, while you do the same with mine." Kyoya smiled at her idea. "Sure!!"
They place both of their rings in thier ring finger as they made a pinky promise.
"Akane, it's time to go!" Akane's mother called. "Go." Kyoya said while givibg a satisfactory smile. "See you soon." Kyoya stared at her leaving form as he convince himself that he will be okay while she's away.
Several years later...
Hibari Kyoya is on his usual guard when suudenly, someone hugged him from behind. Those who were passing by stared at them while the others are mumbling things like: "What is she doing?" "Is she insane?" "She's gonna get herself bitten to death.".
The person whispered on his ear, "Kyo, I'm back..." Kyoya turned around to see who it is. But knowing him, he already had an idea who she is. The only person who would called him that name.
"Akane, welcome home."
