Escaping

Hoseok POV

I caught Namjoon as I released him from the chains that kept him restrained. He isn't as heavy as I thought he was gonna be, but then again.... He hasn't eaten... in this case fed.

"Can you stand?" I asked him, and I just see him spacing out. "Yah, can you talk?" no response.

Can I blame him, who knows how long this poor guy has been frozen... I sit him down slowly to try and exam him. He seems so lost. I can see it in his eyes.... dull and boring. I see no hope nor desire to live. What could they have done to him? 

"You seem perfectly fine, but if we wanna get out of here I need to know if you can walk Namjoon..." he looked up as I called his name. Nothing.

I stand him up and he loses balance. I let him fall on my back, and as he landed I picked him up. I can't leave him here. I just don't have the heart to do that. "We are getting out of here buddy..." I struggled to move with all the cables around but I peeked through the door. 

Bad mistake.

"THERE HE IS!!!"
"NO HE HAS THE SUBJECT FROM THE PRIVATE SECTOR!!!"
GET HIM!"

This is when I decided to make a break for it. I took off in my inhuman speed to wherever I could maybe find an exit. There is no way I'm getting caught here.

I stopped to look around, carrying someone and trying to not get caught is exhausting, I'm breathing heavily but I know I can do this. "You can leave me.... I'm only slowing you down..." I turned to see Namjoon talking. 

"You do talk." I laughed and started to open doors, "I am not leaving without you..." I decided to break a door to make it seem we went through there. "We are both in this mess, trust me... I'll get us out." I see an lab room with a window that isn't covered in bars. A way out.

"There is no reason for you... to help--a stranger..." he whispered. "I have no desire to live..." 

"Well sucks for you Mr. Vampire, but I am not about to walk out on you.... You are someone who I may not know but there is more to life than here... Your life doesn't have to end here... I'm here to help you whether you like it or not." I grabbed a chair to smash the window. And as soon as I did.... 

Beeep beeeep

Crap I forgot these places have alarms. I decided not to drag it out and just throw him over my shoulders, and run.

"Get them" they screamed, and I hear them. The dogs were sent after us, and people as well. I have to lose them in the woods, if not we're caught and gone. I might have to do it if I want to escape them, but.... I can't...not with this guy on my shoulder.

 "Leave me..." Aish this boy! 

"I got it!" I searched for a quick way to the woods and sure enough around the corner. All of a sudden a weapon of some sorts his the back of my head and causes me to lose my balance. Fuck!

I fall along with Namjoon rolling a few centimeters away, and I sudden feel my anger rising, I hate being smacked or hit.

"Thought you could out run us... you idiot" one laughed as I looked up to have the dogs circle me. I think Namjoon is to weak to stand yet alone fight them.

"Why would you want to steal our valuable subject, he is our biggest accomplishment...---" he tried approaching Namjoon, but I cut him off. 

Without knowing I had shifted, into my true form to scare them of. They stared in horror as I ended up ripping the dogs that tried to attack me. Leaving only 2 alive that were smart enough to run. 

I don't know what is it about this guy, Namjoon... His way of being makes me want to help him. Save him from these people, but also from himself.  

I shifted to my human form and stared them with my golden alpha eyes. "He isn't a subject, he is a living being you twisted fucks..." I slowly got up, to suddenly have one of the remaining dogs launch at me, which caused me smack it across the tree. "Don't touch me... Get near him and I rip you to shreds..." I growled.

"The hell---what are you..." one approached me to try and smack me, but I grabbed his hand, snapping the bone, "I don't want you touching me" I stared into his panicked and pained eyes. "If any of you value your pathetic lives I would suggest you leave before you die" I smirked as I pushed him back. 

I see a solider come to get the guy whose hand I broke. I stare deadly at them, "I am leaving with Namjoon whether you like it or not" I circled them. "If I have to shift again and kill you all I will... what will it be you pathetic humans..." I smirked as I saw them slowly take steps back. "My friend does need blood...." as soon as I said that they took off. 

"Pathetic." I let out a breath and turn to Namjoon, still passed out. I think he needs blood to recover his strength. I turn to the dog's corpses. Better than humans I think. 

Normally I would never harm humans.... But lucky for me, I don't consider people who work for labs to test on poor people/ creatures such as us humans. One of the reasons I was captured was for being too careless. However now I know, to be more careful of my surroundings. 

I shifted back into my wolf form and managed to get Namjoon above me and headed deep into the woods, back to my home. Carrying the dead dog in my mouth. 

'Sorry dog, my friend has to feed off from something... you would've lived if you hadn't attacked. Sorry, but your blood will be helpful...'

"We are free..." I looked back at the sleeping vampire on my back... "I hope we can be friends and not enemies..."
