Arctic Flare(Main Hero)

Hi I'm Arctic Flare and just like my name suggests I'm well I guess a hero but I'm not. I haven't saved anyone, I haven't rescued anyone from danger, not even caught a criminal but you know who has. This strange man called the Amplifier, I don't understand why but I always see girls talk about him and how they'd do anything to meet him, HA not me. Sure I like the guy but I don't blabber it to people. But back to the subject of explaining myself, I'm a 14 year old girl with red hair that starts to turn into blue, I can control Fire and Ice, I have glasses, I was born with my power but what has always gotten me wondering is how I got my power I mean both my parents are mortal or at least as I can assume cause I'm an orphan and all that my Orphanage mother will tell me is that they were mortal I mean she doesn't even know I have powers, I live in California, go to school, and have a best friend named Rose.*School bell rings and cuts to Arctic in class* "Psst Arctic you have the notes?" Asked James, now James has always loved to annoy me ever since I came here. So usually I never answer but today changed my entire life. BLAM! Went a wall and soon alarms started going off so my first reaction was to go outside and I did "ARCTIC GET BACK HERE!" I hear my math teacher yell. I had seen a squid but no normal squid this one was probably I don't know 60 feet tall if not shorter or taller. I'd seen Rose out here as well but then I tripped and lose my glasses soon enough I found them and saw something hit Rose's paint brush but I don't really know what it was. Then I look up and see the Amplifier defeat the squid and then BOOM! My heart started to flare up and I knew I was insane to have fallen in love with a hero. Soon enough I go back to class and my teacher yelled at me and gave me lunch detention but I didn't care and here comes the terrible part I started doodling in my notebook while in lunch detention and I was doodling the Amplifier. God I nearly started flaming up which just means I was about to become a fire hazard but I quickly froze my feet and as soon as the bell rang I unfroze my feet, apologized sincerely to my teacher and left for my other class. *Another bell rings and we cut to Acetic walking home with Rose* Me and Rise didn't talk to me nor did I talk to her but all I knew was I need to tell my orphanage mother about this so I did.  "Mother mother you won't believe it!" "What is it Arctic dear?" I was so excited but frightened to tell my orphanage mother. "I saw the Amplifier and well... I feel weird he seems like the one but why would he love a normal person like me there are plenty of people." My mother looked so happy. "Arctic it's ok many people feel this way and not just towards the Amplifier. It's called falling in love but you are correct unless you have I don't know a power I guess your just a normal girl but that's nothing to be ashamed of." I thank my orphan mother, hug her and go do my homework, then sleep. My dream was terrifying but warmed me up. I had burst out in a fiery rage a almost hurt people but then I stopped and started freezing the streets but not to later the Amplifier came and cheered me up but that's unlike to happen but how was I suppose to know dreams could be reality because I soon went to school and Rose wasn't there, after a few months I couldn't take it anymore I scream and bust into a fire uncountable to man and nearly burned the school down. I slowly stop and start freezing my surroundings I was soon comforted by my orphan mother and run away.
