I've been thinking... about us

And it pisses me off
That you are peacefully sleeping
While I am wide awake
Wondering why I wasn't good enough for you

There was no goodbye
No warning signs

You simply just left me
With no explanation

That's probably one of the most brutal things that you could ever do to someone
Once you leave them with no explanation
That's when they start to think about what they did wrong
They start to think about every little flaw they have
They start coming up with lame excuses as to why you left
Because simply...
Their heart cannot bear the pain

But then their mind starts telling them that it was all their fault
And they will keep on trying to ignore that thought
But eventually they will give in
And they will believe that it was all because of them
