Blake POV

I was lying on my bed with my bow next to me and ears out, reading a book calmly. It was nice and quiet, since the rest of my team was out with JNPR, and I was ecstatic about it. 'No yelling, no arguing, and the best part, no peop-' My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. 'Ffffffffff-' I let out an annoyed sigh, and slowly stood up to see who it was. Putting my hand on the doorknob, I hesitated. I didn't have to open it, maybe the person would go away if no one answered the door. After a few moments of battling in my head, I decided that I should open it. Finally turning the knob, I swung the door open.

"What do you wan-" I stopped short, realizing who it was. "O-Oh, (Y/N). Sorry, I was just..." My words trailed off as she smiled apologetically.

"No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt whatever you were doing. I'll just come back some other time." She started to walk away, but I stopped her.

"Wait!" I yelled, grabbing her arm. Once I realized what I'd done, I let go immediately. "D-Don't go. I was only reading. What d-did you need?" I stuttered.

"Oh, I was just coming to see if you wanted to hang out or something. But it seems like you were busy, so we can do it another day if you want."

"No, come on in. I would love to hang out with you." I said opening the door and standing aside.

"Are you sure?" She asked, her words laced with concern. I looked right into her (e/c) eyes, and nodded happily. She grinned, and slowly walked in the room. 'That smile always gets me...' I thought as I also stepped in, closing the door.

"So what do you want to do? As you can see, my team is out, so we stay here and do something." I blushed a bright crimson at the thoughts that came to mind, and tried pushing them back, to no avail.

"Are you okay, Blake? You look a little red." She extended her arm up to touch my forehead, which made it worse. "You're really warm too. Are you sick?"

"N-No, I'm okay. Just a little hot." She looked skeptical as she put her arm back down.

"You better not be lying, I care about you a lot. I don't want to keep you from getting better."

"I-I..." 'Wait did she say she cares about me? I mean obviously, but...a lot? What does that mean? Don't overthink this Blake. She probably means platonically.' I felt my ears flatten at the thought.

"What's wrong, Blake?" She asked. Her voice was calm, but she still sounded worried.

"Nothing, (Y/N). I was just thinking about something...." I looked at the floor, a sad expression plastered on my face.

"What was it?" I froze. I couldn't tell her the truth, she would probably be disgusted. But, I couldn't lie to her either. That just wouldn't be right.

"I was thinking about when you said you cared about me. It means a lot. Thanks." 'There. Not a lie, but not the whole truth. Good balance.'

"Actually, I've been meaning to say something about that..." She sighed, and looked anywhere except at me. "I don't think I want to be friends with you anymore." My heart shattered. I couldn't believe my ears.

"W-What?" I asked, a few tears threatening to fall, then following through.

"N-No! I don't mean it like that! I...want to be more than friends." 'Ahhhh my heart can't take this.'

"Like, best...friends? Yeah I think that would be grea-" I was cut off by her lips on mine. She was kissing me. Okay. 'WAIT WHAT THE....' She finally pulled away after a moment, tears in her eyes.

"I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that..I'll leave." She tried to run, but I tackled her before she could. Now, I was on top of her, inches away from her face. I took the opportunity to kiss her. She gasped, but then started to return the kiss. We both melted into the feeling of our lips connecting, and moving with each other. After a few minutes, we pulled away for air.

"(Y/N), I love you. Please don't go." She smiled, and hugged me. I reciprocated the act, and sighed happily.

"I love you too, Blake." I stroked her (h/l) (h/c) hair, as she attempted to control the waterfall of tears. Suddenly, we saw a flash of light. I looked over to see Yang with her scroll out, and the others smiling knowingly, giggling at the scene.

"Oops! Flash was on..." My blonde partner said, rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly.

"Yaaaang..." I growled angrily. She smiled, and ran out and into the corridors. I went to go chase her, but was stopped by a hand grabbing my arm.

"Please stay. It's probably a cute picture anyway." (Y/N) giggled with pleading eyes. I sighed, a small smile on my face.

"Okay, fine." I shook my head playfully, and bent down to give her a peck on the cheek.

"Hey, Blake?"

"Yeah?" I replied, looking at her questioningly.

"I know this is kind of implied by what just happened, but I want to make it official.." She sat up, and I straddled her thighs. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Of course." I chuckled, giving her another kiss on the lips. There was another flash.

"Not again! Stupid thing..." Yang whispered.

"Okay, now we can get her." (Y/N) said.

"Yikes!" Yang yelled, running out the door again with the two of us right on her tail, hand in hand and giggling.
