*Anna's POV*
As I walked into the building, I felt my heart pound faster and faster.
'This is it. I'm auditioning in front of One Direction today to be on their tour....come on Anna, you can do this. You've worked too hard for you to give up now.' I thought, holding my guitar case tightly as I took each and every step.
Of course I was nervous as hell. I'd been practicing for weeks....what if I....messed up or didn't make it? I decided those were not the thoughts to be thinking at this moment. Finally, I reached the audition room where everyone who was auditioning was currently preparing themselves. I sat on one of the chairs, and opened up my case. Pulling out the beautiful acoustic and a pic, I started to tune the instrument to the right key. Once it was tuned, I started to practice the chords that I needed to use to sing "More Than This" by none other than One Direction. The song found its way into my heart from the first time that I listened to it. I smiled as I thought about their beautiful voices....especially Harry Styles. Yes, he was my favorite One Direction member. I loved listening to him sing....he was so passionate when he sang, his voice was so full of emotion all the time. I warmed up my voice for about 5 minutes, and then my name was called. Apparently, I was the first to audition.
I stepped into the main audition room, and there they were in all their glory: One Direction. Harry gave me a smile as I walked to the stool that was in front of them. "So, you must be Anna, correct?" Liam's voice broke me out of my trance. My face flushed as I sat on the stool. "Yes, I am." I said, trying to look confident. "What would you like to sing for us today, Anna?" Harry asked. I looked directly at Harry, and said with the uttmost pride, "I'd like to sing my favorite song of yours: More Than This."
I saw all five lads smile at each other. "Okay, Anna, you can begin whenever you are ready." Niall said, grinning at me. I took my Acoustic Guitar out of my case yet again, my heart racing faster than Test Track, my favorite ride at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Then, I started to strum the strings of the beautiful intrument, my fingers moving with ease over them. When I started to sing the song, my voice didn't shake with nervousness or even crack....it was crisp, and clear. You'd be able to hear it for miles around. When I finished, the five lads stood up and clapped loudly for me. I couldn't help but blush yet again as I saw Harry look at me with interest in his expression.
*LATER ON- 2 DAYS LATER*
It turns out that I had made it onto One Direction's tour after all! Today I was going to see the lads again as we start prepping for the tour. It was pouring rain, and as I saw the building, I saw Harry out in front of it, not caring if he got wet. "Anna!" He exclaimed, smiling and waving at me. I couldn't believe it.....he really was there. I walked over to him, a wide smile practically super glued onto my face. "Hi, Harry!" I replied when I got to him. Harry stroked my sopping wet hair, looking into my eyes. Then, he did the most unexpected thing: he leaned in, and kissed me, right there in the middle of the pouring rain. Sparks flew and fireworks went off in my head as we kissed. Then, the kiss ended and we were looking into each other's eyes again. "Will you be mine, Anna?" He asked softly. I nodded, my words not being able to form themselves, but I was smiling widely at Harry, my boyfriend and my everything. I pulled him in for another soft kiss in the middle of the pouring rain. I now had, finally, someone to love...and someone to sing with.
