Chapter 1.
The beginning of my new life.
I stare down at my shoes, watching as a soft layer of snow settles on the new canvas material. This is where the greatest adventure of my life began. Over there was my favourite spot to get peace. The branches of the tree, which collapsed in a brown heap, provide heart wrenching memories. How else could I soothe myself in this nervous time?
Almost nothing remains of my last life. A few marks on the ground, the hidden entrance and the tree is all I have left to be honest. I don't know why exactly. but it just is. Perhaps it was because my other life was violent, unhappy...maybe I was forced to forget...or maybe those memories left me in my darkest of times. Behind me I hear the of a husky and tall man. He holds a gun in his left hand and pushed my shoulder with his right.
"Get a move on." He commands me to walk. Funny. I never recall being bossed around, but I listen and start to walk.
It's seems different. Not like the times of my past life...oh, but how I miss those days...
As we walk closer towards the hidden base the trap and camouflaged door lifts and opens above our heads as we walk through. Already I feel the soft breeze from the door push against me and sends my red jacket to sway softly along with my short blue hair. All around me all I see are flickering blue LED lights cast a shadow in the long hall with the soldier's feet making a loud noise every step we take. I head voices...familiar ones, at the moment the matches I can make to those voices are a grown woman...a grown man...a teenage girl...a teenage boy...maybe a preteen...and...Ratchet!
Chapter 2.
Old friends.
Already I hear the old mechs voice ring around the room with a hint of panic in his voice.
"What do you mean 'offline'?!" Ratchets yells at the computer screen. I instantly realise that he is talking through the com link. The humans all crowd together. trying to comfort one another.
"I mean he's offline. what more can I say?" a calm voice of a young mech echoes back. This time his voice is more raspy...hmm...Knockout. from my last moments I remember he joined our forces.
"Optimus can't be offline!" Ratchet, yet again, yells at him. I can sense the fury building up inside of him. I decide now is the time. I step out from behind the corner of the hall but as soon as I do I get pulled back by the soldier. He glares at me, his brown eyes engulfed with fury.
"Sort your act out." he tells me with a cold...ice cold tone.
I nod and take the hint. My hands move down to my blue jeans as I pat the sand and dust off of them, I adjust my red jacket and move my blue hair from my face. There's no need to check my shoes. shoes are meant to get dirty.
The soldier clears his throat loudly and gets everyone's attention. I see Ratchet sigh under his breath.
"Yes, Lennox?" the grown man asks. I study him. his skin is dark...he had brown eyes and black hair...I know who he is. Special Agent William Fowler.
"Sir, ma'am, children...and Ratchet." Ratchet scoffs at Lennox's input but Lennox ignored him completely and continues.
"I would like to introduce a old friend, of yours..." Lennox gives me a hand signal and beckons me to walk over at them. I step out from the shadows and stand by Lennox. Everyone's mouth drops open. Why are they so surprised?
