I am sorry:
To those, I ever wronged whether knowingly or unknowingly.
To those who trusted me, and yet I betrayed that trust.
To those who had my back when I didn't have theirs.
To those who were victims of my selfishness and jealousy.
To those who needed me, but I wasn't there.
I am sorry:
For plans that were made, but never fulfilled.
For dreams that were dreamt, but never accomplished.
For futures that were planned, but never realised.
And I miss the days when life was easier. When we didn't have to worry about the problems that we now face.
I'm sorry to those who wanted me to stay in their lives, but I left anyways. I smile when I think of the memories, but I'm too much of a coward to make new ones.
So please forgive me.
But, I've found it in myself to forgive:
Myself, for even though looking back now, at the time I did what I thought was right.
To forgive those who also wronged me.
To forgive those who hurt me, when I didn't need to be hurt by what had been done or said. That was my choice.
So I am sorry.
And I forgive you.
