"I told you already, I'm going to see Vicky!" I lied to my dad, I was actually going over to Josh's. but he didn't need to know that.
"Ugh fine, but be back by 6pm tomorrow, we're having guests over." He replied, folding his arms.
"Of course I will daddy." I smiled sweetly, this was how to get what I wanted, "Have a good night, I love you." I pecked him on the cheek, and walked out the door with a smirk on my face. He wouldn't be questioning me anymore, after all, I was daddy's little girl.
I walked round the corner to where I told Josh to pick me up from so dad didn't see him. I saw him straight away, my eye drawn to his sparkling silver car. He stepped out of his car and gave me a blindingly bright smile.
"Daisy." Was all he said until he came over to me and kissed me slowly and passionately. Yep. The fireworks in my stomach were still there. "I missed you" he whispered and then went back into the kiss.
After a couple more minutes of kissing I pulled away, "Its only been two days." I whispered breathless.
"Doesn't mean I cant miss you. Missing someone isn't how long you've been apart from someone, its if your doing something and you wish that they were right beside you doing it with you." he said staring into my eyes and holding my hand.
I gave him a quick smile.
"So should we get in?" He asked, gesturing at the car.
"Sure." I answered still smiling.
He held the door open for me, "For you my lady."
"Why thank you sir." I laughed in reply. He closed the door and got in himself the other side.
"So where are we going anyways?" I asked.
"We are going something very special to me." He said "But that's all I'm telling you until we're there." He added on quickly.
This boy. He was full of mysteries. That was one of the things I loved about him.
We were in the car for about an hour, all the way we had been listening to old songs by The Beatles. We arrived at a kind of forest, but not a dark forest, quite a bright, forest it looked beautiful.
"Alright close your eyes." Josh said when we were out the car.
"Ummm.... why?" I asked suspiciously.
"Just do it!" He said, I obeyed and shut my eyes tightly, he put his hands on my hips and steered me in the direction.
"Okay, you can open them now." He said to me. I opened my eyes, the view was breath taking. We were on a completely empty beach which belonged in California even though we live in the UK with dark sandy beaches with dark green-ish sea. Here the sand was white and the sea crystal blue, there were even palm trees. "So, what do you think?" Josh asked, a huge smile spreading across his face.
"Its beautiful." I said, spellbound.
"Isn't it. I used to come here with my grandma, before she um... passed away..." He said staring at the ground.
"I...I... I'm sorry..." I muttered.
"What for?" Josh asked giving me a wonky smile, he looked like he was about to cry, "It wasn't your fault. It was cancers. But... She's gone, its too late to get her back. There's no point being depressed now is there, this is our special day!" He said, a real smile now spreading across his face. "LETS GO IN THE SEA!" he shouted happily!"
"I cant, no bikini..." I said shrugging.
"That's where your wrong."
"Huh?"
