What happened to us?
How did it turn out to be like this?
Us in this deep valley of darkness,
No soul, no sound of breathing,
Just darkness, just us
Ignoring each other,
Avoiding, running away.
Was a sorry not enough for you?
I promised, yes, I remember,
But so did you, seconds after me.
You promised to be there for me,
To love me no matter what,
To protect me and to support me,
To be in love with me always.
But then she came,
And it wasn't her fault entirely,
It was yours too and mine.
I was stupid to think you'd avoid her,
Stupid to think you'd not return,
The feeling.
That feeling.
That feeling we shared.
The race of our heart beat when our eyes meet,
The ecstasy when we kiss,
The fire on our skin when we touch,
The love we had.
What happened to us?
Where did we go wrong?
Why did you do it?
Was it some sort of a revenge?
Because you served it cold to me,
with your warm hands.
She won, I know.
I lost, I know.
You're happy, I know.
I'm happy, I don't know.
But,
We're nothing now, I should've known.
