We pulled into my driveway, I was nervous and scared. Not only did I disappear, but I now have to tell them about the girls..."do you think you both could come in with me?" I said, Kate quickly responded "of course", it made me feel a bit better. I brought them in and to the living room, my parents both came down from upstairs, "I'm sorry, I forgot my phone, and went to their house and ended up staying the night, I forgot to call, so, I'm sorry" there was a long silence before my dad started speaking "don't worry, if you did this all the time, we would be mad, but this is only one time, so it's OK" ... Good they are fine with that, now for the hard part..."you may want to sit down for this next part" they all got serious and looked at me, "what is going one?" My mom said, "this is hard to say, considering what you told me, but remember I told you about the 2 girls at the party?" She then replied with "ya, but I thought I told you to forget about them" "well these are the girls, this is Kate, and this is Alex" I pointed to them sitting behind me, my dad was confused, but my mom had this face that I could only describe as both sad and mad, we were quiet for a while before I gathered my courage and said " I,.. My mom went from mad to crying. While my dad sat there still with a blank face before he but his hand in my shoulder and said "it's fine, I will support your decision, no matter what" then he turned to the girls "you 2 don't betray her, I can see the way all 3 of you look at each other that you love one another" then he hugged me and said that that he had to go back to work for the night shift. Now it was just me Kate, Alex and my mom, she still didn't believe me, so I turned around and kissed both the girls, when I looked back at my mom, she was shocked, then she spoke "you are 18 now, and you can make your own decisions, so if this is yours, then you can leave.." I could see the anger in her face, and I knew I wasn't going to be able to calm her down, "OK then.... I will leave...." I turned to the girls "can I?..." "Yes" they both said in unison, and we went to my room, grabbed some of my stuff and I got in the car with them and as we were pulling out I saw my mom crying in the window of the house.
