Ch 2: Dance Set Trouble

As Amy was fixing the camera, she heard a crack and the booth started to fall onto her. Amy screamed until Shadow caught it and put it back up for Amy.

"Thank you, Shadow."

"Anytime, Rose."

Shadow went back on stage, playing his guitar. As they finished an hour later, Amy found Misty and told her they were done.

"How wonderful! I will announce it tomorrow."

Amy went home with her mom welcoming her. She went up to her room, got out her diary, and wrote.

Dear diary,

I was fixing the camera when the booth was coming down. Before I was hit, my crush, Shadow saved me. I told him thanks and and after that, he called me Rose. I felt my heart beat faster. I just wish he had feelings for me as I feel for him.

As Amy closed her diary, she heard her mom call her down to dinner. Amy shouted that she will be there.

(Shadow's P.O.V)

I was going home thinking about did for Rose. I did that because I like her, but she wouldn't like a dark person like me; we're opposites.

As I came home, my dad wondered why I looked blank. I told him I like a girl, but she was like an opposite of me. He told me an old saying "opposites attract" and told me to play a song for her at the dance. I nodded and ran up to my room to pick a song for Amy. I thought about that note I gave Amy and there was such a song as "Yours to Hold." He smiled and started to practice.
