Richelle's POV

"We seriously need to find an apartment." I told Noah as I sat at the table with him and Kate.
"I know, I'm looking." Noah said as he took a bite of his cereal.
"What?" Kate asked, confused.
"We can't stay with you forever. We appreciate everything you're doing for us, we really do, but we can't rely on you forever. We know we're a burden." I told her, eating some breakfast as well.
"Nonsense. I love having you guys here. And I can't wait for your baby." Kate said, shaking her head. I rolled my eyes. We gotta leave eventually, but I did sometimes wonder if Kate liked us living here because she was lonely. In the years I've known her, which are a good amount, she's never had a boyfriend. She's always too busy running the studio or dealing with us. I feel bad for her, she gets no time to herself, but I know she does love running The Next Step. I know that she wants a family, so maybe my baby is kinda like the son or daughter she doesn't have. As I thought about that, I realized it was kinda selfish trying to move out of Kate's, when she wants us here, she wants our family here. Maybe we can stay a little longer.

Riley's POV

"Everything seems perfectly fine." The doctor told myself and James. "Your baby's perfectly healthy."
"There's only one in there, right?" James asked worriedly. "Because twins run in my family, my moms a twin and she always says I'm gonna have twins, and I'm kinda terrified because I can't raise 2 right now." James rambled.
"There's only one." The doctor stated. "I'm positive of that." James breathed a sigh of relief, as I chuckled. I'd told him over and over again there was only 1, but he wouldn't listen to me. He said he wouldn't believe my mother's instinct on this one, he had to hear it from a doctor. "If you have no more questions, I'll let you go." The doctor added. The gel was wiped off my stomach, before I sat up. After a few instructions of what I should do for the baby, and being given an ultrasound photo, we were off.
"Where to now?" I asked James.
"I have something I want to show you, I want to see what you think." He told me. I nodded, and we started driving somewhere. When we pulled got closer, James made me cover my eyes as he drove down some road. I felt the car stop, and heard James get out, before he opened my door. James then guided me out, and walked me away from the car, before I heard something rattling, and a door opening. "Open your eyes." James said. I opened them, seeing a large, empty room in front of me.
"What's this?" I asked confused, turning to look at James. He smirked at me.
"This is the living room of our townhouse." He stated proudly. My eyes widened.
"We own a house?!" I questioned in disbelief.
"My uncle built the subdivision, he was able to work it out and give us one for free. We have someplace for our child to grow up in now." Jame explained.
"Oh my god!" I mumbled, staring at the space in awe. As I stopped inside, I saw a spacious, modern kitchen, connected to another empty room, which was probably intended to be the dining room. In the living room was a beautiful staircase, heading upstairs where I could see a landing and a few rooms. For a townhouse, the space was huge, and it was beautiful.
"We can move in any day we want babe." James told me, kissing my cheek. "Do you like it?" He asked, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind.
"I love it."
