Sorry for not updating and I know I said a long chapter, but I kind of got lazy and had writters block so please don't be mad at me and I'll try to update again this week. So tell me what you guy would like to see more in the next few chapters because honestly I'm really starting not to like this book much.

"Get up and don't make no noise"The figure said loud enough for Uneek to hear.
She slowly got up trying not to wake her husband and kids, I'm the process and she succeeded.
The intruder pushed her out of the room and downstairs.
She was on her knees while the intruder pointed the gun at her head the only light that was in the room was the moonlight and the kitchen light, but it wasn't any help to see who was trying to take her life and why.
"I still don't know what the hell you seen in that young ass boy"The person laughed"He probably just using you for all that damn money you got"what was this person talking about did they not know that Mason had his own money and never propped his mouth up to ask for hers.
"Do you know how many times this man has cheated on you? And your dumb ass still take him back cause you know a young and pretty woman can come and snatch him up while you're left with two kids to raise"The person kept rambling on while Uneek was thinking of a way for somebody to know that she was in trouble.
"I should've aborted your ass when I had the fucking chance bitch, but I'm about to do what I should have done years ago"the person said and Uneek tensed up when she felt the gun get pushed deeper into her skull,she didn't even realize what the person had said to her.
"Mommy are you down here?"She heard Rileys voice coming down stairs.. he light switch came on that was by the staircase and the person turned the gun over at Riley and her eyes immediately got big.
Uneek took that as her opportunity to try and fight the intruder off.
They tussled with the gun until it finally went off.
"Yo what the hell going on in here?!"they both were still fighting over the gun until it went off once more hitting the intruder and Uneek then had control over the gun she aimed it at the person laying in the floor.
The person clutched their stomach, indicating that's where they were hit.
They took off the ski mask while Riley and whoever was by the staircase stood watching to see who it was as well.
"Mommy who is that?"Riley said slowly making her way over to her mom as well as Mason who was by the staircase as well.
Uneek looked at the person the Riley and Mason"My mother" Uneek said with no emotion.
"Why are you trying to kill me?"she said, looking at who she thought was her mom.
"I'm not answering shit just call the damn police on me or don't even bother i'll probably be dead by the time they come anyway"she said laughing while still clutching her stomach.
"Take her and call the police,"she told Mason while he nodded and grabbed a hold of Riley and went to the kitchen to grab the phone.
Uneek just shook her head and stared at a person who raised her half her life and wanted to kill her out of nowhere a person she hasn't even spoken to in years she honestly couldn't call her a mother she was a stranger to her and for her to say all she said hurt her to the core.
After a couple of minutes you heard sirens outside Mason went outside to flag them down.
They made it inside instantly helping the stranger on the floor, they police took a statement from her and asked her to come down to the station to ask her questions about what had went on.
"So can you tell me how all of this happened?"the officer asked coming into the interview room.
Uneek took a deep"Well, I was woken up out of my sleep to that lady I use to call a mother pointing a gun at me"
The officer stopped her"Hold on, that was your mother?"he asked with a very shocked expression she nodded.
He gestured for her to continue.
She finished telling him what went on and they told her she could leave, but will need her back in within a few more days.
Mason sat in the front of the police station on the phone talking to his mom while he waited for Neek surprisingly, they questioned him,but not for too long.
Uneek walked walked out looking tired and irritated all in one.
"You ready to go baby?"Mason asked when he got off the phone with his mom.
She nodded and they walked to the car heading home.
