You.
Your big brown puppy eyes and your hair swept slightly out of place.
You survived to hell and back, and you still have your humanity.
But it's all a mask, isn't it?
That hell is still eating away at you, but you put on your smile and continue.
And you still have the strength to carry my load on top of yours.
That's what I love about You.
But your mask swallowed you.
You, in order to avoid pain, became the kid who never knew pain.
You smile and laugh, but forget the kids who lost their smiles.
You tried to help me, and I fell for you, but then you forgot.
So I tried to forget you, too.
But I couldn't, so I kept my mouth shut and avoided you.
A few months later, there She was.
She was beautiful.
Dirty blonde hair, big brown eyes, just like yours.
She was far from perfect, but she was perfect in my eyes.
She wasn't unscathed from Life, she was recovering, too.
And I loved her.
But you did too, didn't you?
Now I'm stuck in the middle, you or her?
But she fell for you, and the both of you forgot me.
I'll just try to forget, try to hide the tears.
It was all for
You.
