Depression will tell you
that nobody would care.
"Nobody would notice if you died,
that's how worthless you are"
But don't let it tell you this,
for them, it would be so far from bliss...
Your mother found you after work,
she didn't stop crying for days.
Your friends couldn't bear life without you,
they started their self-harming ways.
The funeral was full of people you knew,
they all felt guilty in some way.
The attendee number was far from few,
on that horrible, tear-filled day.
Your sister hid in your room for days,
your brother stopped speaking.
You see, this can't happen,
don't let Depression get the pain it's seeking.
