~•Chapter 4•~
Four very dull class periods later, it was time for lunch. Well, I shouldn't say art was dull. It was quite fun. But French! If it were a person, I would personally murder it. It's so difficult! Especially if for the past five years you learned only Spanish. Anyway, I ran to the cafeteria in a joyous rush, not looking at where I was going. I crash into someone.
"Hello, Jaz."
Its only John. "Oh, sorry! Hey John."
"Do ya have someone to sit with with at lunch, love? Yer welcome to join me, if ya like."
"Thank you, John, but I'm sitting with Paul."
John's face starts to smile. "Ah, Paulie dear. He's me best mate. We'll go to the cafeteria together, love."
John links arms with me, and he takes me to the cafeteria. I look at the menu. Ode to joy. Soup for lunch. We pay for our lunch and go sit at a crowded table, crowded with- gasp!- boys. I sit at the end with Paul and John.
"So, you met John boy then?" said Paul.
"Yeah, we have lockers next to each other," said John.
Then a boy nudges Paul. "Is this year bird, then? Or is she available?"
"I don't know," said Paul.
"I'm Jaz, and I am most certainly not a bird!" I say angrily.
"Not English, love? That's alright. But I most certainly can't call you a lad," he said, mocking me a little.
"Can't you just call me a girl?" I ask.
"It's a Liverpool thing. Names George," he said, trying to sound seductive.
"Nice to meet you, George." I shake his hand. " Alright everyone. Let's tell our surnames. I'm an Everrose."
"Lennon," John says.
"McCartney," Paul says.
"Harri-," George starts, interrupted by a large stomach growl.
"Ah, there he goes again," Paul sighs, " he's always hungry."
"Oi! I got a good excuse! It's lunch time!" he said, defensively.
I laugh, and eat my soup. It's OK, considering it's cafeteria food.
"So, love, are you available?" George asked.
I look at him. " How old are you, again?"
"14. I'm a freshman," said George.
I dismiss him with a wave of my hand. " I only date men my age or older. Sorry, Georgie," I said, seeing the look on his face.
"Ah, sorry, mate. You've been dumped before you even started dating," John said, shaking his head.
"Ah, shut it, Lennon."
I giggle at their immaturity. Paul looks at me.
"Love?" he asks me.
"Yes, Paul?"
"There's a new film me and the lads want to see, but we have to go with a pretty bird."
I giggle. "What film?"
Paul glances at John and George, before bending down on knee, taking my hands, and saying, "Love, will you have the pleasure of accompanying us lovely young me to 'The Wizard of Oz'?"
I gasp.
★FLASH BACK★
I'm only 5 years old. Mom turns on the TV. The movie 'The Wizard of Oz' is on. I watch it, and I love it. It becomes my favorite classics.
★FLASH BACKENDS★
"Yes! Oh, yes, Paul, I'd love it!" I exclaim.
"Then I'll pick you, Paul, and George up, since I'm the only one that can drive. We'll go to the 7 o'clock showing, so I'll pick you up at 6:30," said John.
The bell rings. Lunch is over. We go dump our trays. We all say goodbye, when John slips some paper in my hand, and leaves. I go to my next class and open it. In very rough and messy handwriting, it says 'will you be my girlfriend? From J.W.L.'.

A.N.
Hey! OK, I'll admit it, I don't know when the wizard of oz came out, so don't judge. I was watching the movie, and thought of adding it. So, on Saturday, I was at the mall, in Maurice's, and- I. Sawr. A. RUBY. RING!!!! I almost died! it looked exactly like Ringo's in 'Help!' Every day of 2014, I've seen a Beatles thing in the media, or in public. YAY!
