Just like how coffee is bitter without a creamer or a few sugar cubes, the young girl's day is incomplete without seeing her childhood friend, Tsukishima Kei. Everyday, every minute, every second even... The two are expected to be together.

They are always partners in crime, always behind each other's back in case of getting in trouble in school... But that was shattered when middle school came... Tsukishima didn't hang out with her anymore. She would've understood the situation if he was just studying, but she was wrong... She saw him talking to a new friend. She debated whether to call out to him or not, but she was itching to know who the new guy is. And maybe they can be friends too...

"Tsukishima!" Her voice was loud as she ran up to them. "Huh?" He asked, turning towards the panting girl. "Would you both want to play with me?" She grinned, tucking her hands behind her as she waited for their answer.

"No thanks. I'm playing with Yamaguchi. Let's go..." He said, pulling his new friend away.

The young girl stood in that same spot, head down, making her bangs fall to her eyes. People started to look at her. With a sharp inhale of the fresh air, she forced a shakey smile as she turned around to walk home.

"Maybe I'm just a six out to ten for him... I'll just wait, maybe he'll come talk to me soon..."

Three days, Four days, a month, a year... All of those passed without him even talking to her.

"Where did the teasing Tsukishima go? Was I really a nobody to him? How about this headquarters made with boxes? Has he forgotten about me?" Those words left the young girl's lips as she poked the strawberry shortcake before her, occasionally glancing over their cardboard house.

"Y/N? Are you okay?" Her mother asked, worried about her child. She faked a smile and nodded.

"Anyways, we know that it's late to say this to you but we are moving to Osaka..." Her mom said, sitting beside her.

"It's fine, I don't want to be in this place anymore anyways... When are we moving?" She asked. "Much better if we would move out tomorrow. We'll be staying with your grandmother." Y/N only nodded.

"I will be packing my things now..." She said and pushed the half-eaten shortcake before her and walked into her room. To her mom's shock, she would always defend herself to be able to stay here because of her friends but it seems like things aren't going too well with her daughter and her best friend.

Two years had passed and Y/N finally made her decision with her family to move back to Torono for her to be able to study at her dream school, Karasuno. Why has this been her dream school? Well let's say that she is a fan of the 'small giant' herself.
