The drive back wasn't any less of a rough terrain for both of them.......both were disturbed and missing each other but at the same time adamant at their stand......Riya wanted to stay away from Arjun at any cost.....And Arjun wanted to make his point clear some way or the other....She had to listen, he decided to himself....But he wasn't realizing what he was trying to prove to her....or what was his true feelings for her.....yes, he missed her very much but never realized that he was in love with her or rather say that he didn't want to realize that.....he preferred to ignore his own heart's voice or the constant skips his heart did when he thought about her......
The fast paced day and the busy case proceedings never gave a chance to Arjun to speak to her in peace......And even when they spoke, it was only regarding the case details.....
Riya smartly chose to have Shree by her side at all times......Arjun being the cop he is, had immersed himself into the case and personal life and personal talk had no place then......So it was just work and only work the whole day.....
Case Solving: The case was solved and the girl's suicide proved to be a murder.....the lover himself was the killer in this case......they were in a living in relationship secretly.....the girl's parent weren't aware of it......After a few months, the girl started forcing the guy for marriage....they had constant fights....and one day, the fight went over board and in the spur of the moment, the guy strangled the girl to death and in an attempt to save himself, tied her in the ceiling fan and pictured it as a suicide.....The parents had doubts and had pressed for detailed investigation......As always, ETF successfully solved the mystery of the death and got the guy behind bars.....
All walk into the ETF office totally exhausted and tired...Arjun is in first and looks up as the others walk in....All walk in except Riya..Arjun keeps staring at the door...She was with Sameer in his SUV.....he wondered where she was....but he never asked Shree or Rathod about it.....But the rest were quick to catch his glance at the door and understood that he was looking out for Riya's arrival.....Sameer added with a smirk "woh ghar chali gayi hai!"
Arjun looked up at him a bit disappointed thinking that he wouldn't be able to see her or talk to her but he hides it tactfully under a scorn and adds sarcastically "aise kaise jaa sakthi hai??? Ab yeh paperwork kaun karega??"
All were surprised and equally amused to hear his unusual concern for the paper work which he always considered useless and total waste of time!
Shree was quick to respond back "sir, woh ghar pe sab kuch kar legi aur subah tak mail bhi kardegi...."
Arjun frowned at that and went back to his work......He could see clearly that she was trying her best to remain out of his sight......
After sometime, he went to the kitchen area to drink some water....As he filled his glass with water, his eyes fell on the cups and the tissue paper......Instantly, his mind flew backwards.....She stood there cleaning the rim of the cup with the tissue paper and asked him if he wanted tea....when he replied that he doesn't call this tea, she had said "aap ki cutting chai toh iss waqt nahi milegi....toh aapko isi se kaam chalaana padega" and had quickly handed him a cup.......though he doesn't like that tea, he couldn't refuse her....he took it and instantly started sipping from it ......He was yet to find out why he drank that drink which he stil refused to call "chai"....And then her wish "to become a officer like him who could see beyond the obvious" which had made him smile, quite oblivious to himself......how easily had she made him smile that day!! He had almost forgotten to smile ever since..[his thoughts stopped there..."Roshni" that name stopped all his other thoughts, yeh main kya soch raha hoom?...he was angry with himself.....he furiously crushed the plastic glass and flung it into the dustbin......Didn't stop to bid bye to the rest, just walked out of the office.....he just wanted to return to Roshni's memories......he swore not to let his thoughts wander like he had done before......]
