Arjun is on the way to Riya's place mentally preparing himself for the face to face meet......and yeah the proposal...or the confession....whatever they call it.....Arjun, the super cop was tensed now....it was his first confession of this sort......
With Roshni, it was a mutual understanding that both loved each other.....he hadn't made any such formal confession or proposal.......It wasn't his cup of tea....He was now thinking about Riya's reaction.....and he also felt a bit awkward!! But whatever, he had to face it.....there wasn't an option really! This crazy girl has left me in a crazy situation....he sighed deeply as he put his glares into his shirt and pressed the calling bell!
He stood in his trademark pose....his hands folded across his chest and waited before Riya's door!
She didn't open the door...he pressed the bell again impatiently........had she left already?? Random silly thoughts came into his mind......
After about 3 bells, to his great relief, she opened the door..... It was clear that she was busy doing some rigorous work.....there were sweat drops on her face....Her hair appeared all messed up...few lose locks of hair falling to the sides........His hands urged to tuck it back behind her ears.....but he just balled his fist and controlled himself.....she rolled her eyes in shock, in fact she couldn't believe what her eyes saw...was it really Arjun sir? Or was she hallucinating??? Of late, she saw him everywhere, a sort of illness, she thought....
"sir....aap yahaan???" she managed to voice it out somehow
After giving her a head to toe look, he spoke up without much expressions on his face.....nobody could decipher what he was upto or what was running in his mind from his facial expressions
"haan main...tumhe kya lagaa....ek letter mein kuch bhi likh kar chali jaavogi aur main chup baitunga, huh??
Riya gulped in fear....she thought to herself "so he read the letter and he is mad at what I wrote...oh God!!, ab main kya karungi?" she looked around as if searching for a gap to run away....
He didn't give up his angry pretence....he was having fun seeing her react that way....he decided to tease her a bit....."bhaagne ki khosish bhi matth karna...."
Riya: [still hasn't let him in]sir plzz....maine ek weak moment pe kuch likha hoga.....agar aapko bura lagaa toh, I am sorry.....
Arjun: [mind voice: maine kab kahaa ke mujhe bura lagaa][suppressing his smile to the fullest] khair letter ko chodo.....mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai.....
Riya: [not willing to talk anything because she feels he is going to scold her for the contents of the letter...moreover, she feels awkward facing him,because he had known her secret love for him] sir, maine kahaa na I am sorry....mujhe koyi awkward situation pe matth dhaliye.....
Arjun: [mind voice: awkward situation pe toh tumne mujhe dhaala hai Riya][ignoring her] tum baahar aa rahi ho ya phir main andhar aa jaavum.......
Riya realized that this man was stubborn and wouldn't give up so easily.......it was better to confront him rather than trying to protest, she decided and confrontation would be better off within the four walls rather than before the prying eyes of her neighbours
She moved aside and let him in......He entered her house.....it was the first time he visited her house...often, he had dropped her at the gates but it was the first time, he came in........
It was evident that she was busy packing her things......."hmmmm bhaagne ke thayaari mein lagi thi!!" he smirked as he walked into the hall......
Riya preferred to be silent and she was also confused what he wanted to speak now.....she stood leaving a huge distance between them....she was all set to run...
