They found ways
To taunt me
After The Thing.
They found ways
To make me regret
Ever liking The Other Guy.
They found ways
To make me realise
What I did was horrible.
They did everything they could
To bring me down.
But then,
You came along.
Stayed by my side
And made me perceive
That the hurtful fall into
What seems like abyss
Is just another chapter
In my book of Life.
And that there's no point
Crying over spilt milk.
That day I realised
That happiness is
Where the heart is.
Which I found with you.
