^^Raven's Dress^^
Raven woke up to the sun shining down on her frame. She was dressed in Axel's shirt and somehow her hair was braided, she didn't know how it got there or who did it but it felt neatly done as she ran her fingers down the back of her head. Looking around the room she didn't see her mate there, a pang of pain shooting through her chest. He promised he would be there when she woke up, but it was her fault she believed him. After all, why would he care for a baby he never met? So many promises made last night it was hard to believe he would even remember half of them.
Her wounds still hurt but they healed tremendously overnight and she knew that somehow Lilith managed to break her way out of the block. Raven didn't know if it was just for her wolf's benefit or maybe it was because Antonio knew she needed her somehow but she was grateful.
Thank you Lilith, for coming back and healing me somehow. I'm sorry I trapped you inside. Raven apologised knowing how petrifying it was to be locked inside one's body with no way out not knowing if you would ever see the light again.
You needed me and I'm sorry I was so inconsiderate. You were right. Lilith replied.
We were both somewhat right and wrong at the same time. Raven stated as they decided to settle on that response.Able to walk, the woman made her way to the showers stripping down and stepping in. Untying her hair, she let the water run as she lathered the shampoo into her hair she realised how she had barely ever socialised with her pack. Staying within her own friendship circle she barely met any of the members. Knowing she had to step her game up she decided to meet them after she had her breakfast. Luna's were caring, someone you could turn to if you needed help. They were the mothers of the pack and at the same time they were protective of their pups. To be a Luna you had to be strong and gentle at the same time. Some say it's harder than being an Alpha, after all they only ever order men around.
After Raven was done she wrapped a towel around her heading to the closet. A Luna had to dress elegantly, after all many looked up to them, those who were male and female. Picking out a simple white and pale pick layered dress she put it on then brushing her hair. If she wanted to properly learn about the people she had to look presentable. If children were to look up to her then she wanted to set a good example for them to follow, yesterday was bad enough if anyone noticed her smoking then falling asleep. Slipping on some heels wanting to at least be taller than a few adults for once in her life she stared at herself in the mirror.
The bruises were basically completely gone as her fractures were doing quite well. Her broken pinky toe and sprained ankle hurt like hell to walk on but she had worse, Raven didn't mind suffering every once in a while. She knew happiness came at a price and love, a greater one. Looks like those little airplane trips and balls with Axel paid off huh? Walking out of the room she headed down the hall to the kitchen as her friend Kylie's ears perked up at the familiar clunks of heels hitting the ground.
"Raven! You're up, are you feeling okay?" She asked as the Luna nodded.
"Much better. Planning to spend today meeting the pack, like actually having a decent chat with some and what not after I have breakfast. Want to join me?" Raven offered as Kylie nodded.
"Might as well, I have nothing else to do. There's a spare plate of waffles on the kitchen island but might be a little cold now. Whipped cream and strawberries in the fridge."
"Thanks." Raven smiled grabbing a plate and the cutlery. She liked her waffles plain, not that she could be bothered to add extra toppings anyways.
"So, uhm, where do you want to go first?"
"I think I might want to meet the children first. Where do they usually go in the mornings?" The Luna asked as her chest constricted at the mention of children but she had to get over it someday...and maybe someday she will but it was definitely not anytime soon.
