"How did you know that I don't have it?" I asked turning in his grasp so that we were standing face-to-face.
"The license takes at least two months to pass and you've been here for just a month." His hot minty breath fanned my face and I found myself inhaling it. Inhaling him. "And not forgetting most of the time you are with me." He smirked devilishly and I swear I wanted to kiss him so bad.
He makes me feel things I've never felt before.
Him being the tall and muscular one, lifted me easily few inches off the ground by my waist never breaking the eye contact. I gripped his black jacket just in case I fell, but I knew I wouldn't. Our bodies were pressed close against each other and I was already feeling too hot by heat radiating off him. The next thing I noticed, he was unlocking the front passenger door for me.
"One more second you stare in my eyes and you'll fall in love with me." I quickly broke the dazing contact.
We quickly got in the car and he turned up the heat saving us from minor hypothermia.
The ride was quiet. I thought he'd make some stupid jokes, tease me for blushing every now and then, but he didn't. He was quietly humming to himself with the soft music being played in the background by radio. His one hand on the steering and other one on the gear. His brows furrowed, his jaw set.
"If I start costing for staring, you'll owe me the whole world."
I didn't turn pink or maroon or blue, I turned beet red. With that he started laughing loudly. I couldn't help but smile in response knowing that this wonderful music is created because of me.
"Anyways, how did you learn driving?" He asked smiling when his laughter died down.
"When I was 13."
He choked on his own spit. "What? H-how? I think it's not possible."
"Actually, it is. My dad always wanted to see me independent. For that purpose, he made sure I was armed with every skill. Driving is one of them."
"But it's illegal."
"The whole world is unfair."
The moment we reached at the world level, we knew it was getting serious. We have had such discussions on this topic before, where we both ended up concluding that yes, the world is unfair. But deep in our hearts we also believed that somewhere, somehow, sometime, we'll find the fair.
He cleared his throat. "Like I said, you've never met my friends right?" He lightened up our mood because we both witnessed smiles on each other's lips.
"Here we are." And we ended up in a driveway of a bungalow.
The house was surrounded with trees and the white paint contrasted the green around it. Surroundings were lacking human activities and the only sound that could be heard was of the chirping of birds. I liked the location already.
Instead of knocking at the door, Harry shamelessly barged in. "Hey boys! Look who's here to meet you!"
Inside the house there was yellow lighting all over. It felt so warm and like I had visited this place a thousand times before. In front of me was a big drawing room with two big fat couches sat in front of a t.v. There were pictures of families and friends all over indicating that these people living in are already very close to each other.
"Hey bro! Who have you brought today?"
A boy with chocolate brown hair and presumably hazel eyes asked coming up to us. He looked like a perfect gentleman.
"Call the other boys then I'll introduce her." Harry said giving him a manly hug.
"Harold! It has been a long time since we've seen you.." A boy again with brunette hair and I think blue eyes came having a friendly fight with a blonde boy.
