Chapter 1: When I said I love you
I can't believe I did that. Is that really me who did that?! DID I JUST TELL AIDEN I LIKE HIM???? It dosen't even make sense, purely for the fact that we go to different schools and barley even see each other. Well I should go home and just sleep it off. Maybe forever.
"Well bye Aiden see you the next time we bump into each other."
"Yeah, um see you sometime soon Natalie."
What does he think of me now, I know that I have know him since the 3rd grade but I didn't understand why I couldn't tell him then. Now I come 5 years later and tell him when I could have waited another year until high school hoping we attend the same one.
"Natalie wait I have to tell you something."
"Yeah"
"I-i um how long have you liked me?"
I can't believe that's what he says to me after I just confessed my feelings. I feel like he knows he's the only one that I ever liked.
"Actually since I met you in the 3rd grade."
"Well I don't want to hurt your feelings but I don't have the same feelings for you right n—"
"Well okay then bye again!"
"You didn't let me finish, I did earlier when we were in elementary school, but I thought you didn't like me so I actually started dating people to get you off my mind."
"I thought you didn't like me that's why I never said anything. I would say we should go for a out now..., but it sounds like you don't like me anymore so once again. I'll see you later!"
"Well actually I um..." I'm hoping he says he likes me and would like to go out sometime. Or he should should just let me go. I'm starting to feel really embarrassed.
"I can't even believe that I tried to like other people but I always was thinking of you, I like you too Natalie."
"Really? You do?" I can't believe I just said that out loud hopefully I'm not saying this out loud too.
"Yeah I do". Aiden reaches out and my phone out of my hands, slowly I might add, and entered his number. He called himself and saved my number into his phone. My number is saved as N <3. And I save him as Aiden <<<3 in mine.
"We'll I gotta go, my mom's here to pick me up."
"We— okay, bye!" Why does he have to leave me speechless?
