The reason I wanted to leave that boy's house was because I want to know more about myself. Since the princess is the Crimson Dragon, then it's only natural that the Dark Dragon wants to protect her, just as much as the other dragons. But the legend... it only tells 6 out of 7 of the Great Dragons. The Crimson Dragon, the White Dragon, the Green Dragon, the Blue Dragon, and the Yellow Dragon. Has no one ever told the life of the Dark Dragon? There's barely any evidence or stories about the Dark Dragon's existence, so half of my life is just me discovering what the Dark Dragon is. All I know so far is that the Dark Dragon, like the other dragons, was a good friend of the Crimson Dragon. But the legend is false, the Crimson Dragon wasn't the first dragon to come to earth, it was the Dark Dragon. He took a human form and disguised as a human. At some point, he just disappeared from history. I don't know why. It's so frustrating to know so little about this... power inside of me. I have so many questions that needed to be answered.
I sighed as I grabbed a small rock and threw it, with all of my rage and frustration in that throw.
"Ouch!" yelled a person. A man, specifically. I walked towards the direction of where I threw the rock and there he was, the Oracle. He has a slender body with his wavy, blonde hair covering his eyes. He was wearing a long, white robe but he was all slightly beaten up. Honestly, I don't know what to do but I stepped forward to him and held out my hand.
"Hey, you alright there?" I said. He looked up at me, surprised. I guess he didn't even notice my presence. But he simply smiled and took my hand.
"Oh, thank you," he said as he clumsily stood up. I've heard rumors that the Oracle is a clumsy one, but I never knew he was this uncoordinated. He might have heard me or not. But then again, he is the Oracle. So he should know who I am. Hmm... let's test that theory. I gave him a sweet smile with a tint of concern on my face. Not to brag, but I'm quite the actress.
"Oh dear, sir, I'm so sorry for that rock. I hope it didn't injure you much?"
"Oh, it's alright. Just a small bump on my head," he told me while scratching the back of his, trying to find the sore spot. His face is like an open book. He found the sore spot and winced with pain.
"Oh dear, I guess it is bad. Then again, who can blame you? You didn't see it coming," I said to him. Blunt sure, but if I want something, I want it quick.
"Oh! I knew you were coming, I just didn't know how I would meet you," he replied with a guilty grin on his face accompanied with a nervous chuckle. Then, almost in a split second, the atmosphere changed. Well... he did.
"I know who you are, Dark Dragon. But I'm not sure you know who you are," he said to me as he stared at me right through my eyes. His eyes are like lavender but they felt like lasers piercing through me.
"Wh... what? I knew you were the Oracle but... I guess I underestimated you..." I told him, standing my ground. One thing about me is I never back down. Never. He then walked towards me and gently placed his left hand on my right shoulder.
"I know you must be very confused about who you are, Dayanea," He said to me with a gentle smile, "Are you a killer or a savior? Follow the Crimson Dragon and you shall know who you truly are." Yup, just as expected, he's vague as a fumbernogan when he's actually playing the role of an Oracle.
"You may be the Oracle, but I don't listen to anyone. Not even you. Following the Crimson Dragon or not will be my choice," I said to him. I guess this is one of my weaknesses, or a strength depending on the situation. I despised being ordered around like dog.
"Of course," he said. Then, he switched back to the clumsy ol' fool that he is, "Would you like to come to my house? I can offer you food, water, and shelter."
"No thanks. The kid's taking care of Princess Yona and her knight. I'm just gonna... hunt some food."
"Ah, I see. Well then, see you back at the house!" He said as he cheerily, and clumsy, walked back to the direction of the house.
"Whatever..." I muttered. I guess what I said was half the truth. I am going hunting but not in the traditional way. As I walked deeper into the forest, I hear a bush rustling. I got down and listened intently. I hear it's heartbeat, it's breathing, it's bones moving, and everything. It's a wild boar. A male specifically.
I smirked as I feel my eyes burn hot with the desire to kill.
"This is going to be fun~"
