"Ding, dong" I wake up from the doorbell, I look at the time and realized how late it was, who would be here at this time? I get up and get my fuzzy warm slippers on and walkout into the cold air of my living room. I walk to the door and look out the window and it is Niall! I can't believe he is here at this time. I walk to the door and open it and the cold air flushed into my face and took away my breathe. He looks at me as I was trying to get air, and he finally said," Alex, can we talk?" I just look down at him and wonder what he wants to talk about and I ask him," What do you want to talk about?" He just looks up and he starts crying. I don't know what to do, do I comfort him? I walk over to him and I hug him. He hugs me back and said,"I think I love you..." I just stand there blankly and I can't believe he just said that. I mean, we have only talked for two days and we haven't even been dating! He said again,"Is it a little to soon?" I look at his face and I didn't want to say yes but I can't lie to him so I said,"Yes, just a little too soon Niall, I am sorry." He just looks at me and said," I understand, I thought it was too soon too, but I really really do like you a lot." I look at him and said," I have always liked you Niall, but you never noticed me, why now?" He looks at me and said,"I don't know, we never talked before..." There was just silence after he said that and I finally said," Well I really like you too Niall, but why do you want to date me now? When you just got out of a relationship, I am not a rebound." He looks at my and frowns and said," You are not a rebound, I have always liked you." I am so confused, what does he mean? I look at his red puffy eyes and said," Stop crying Niall, I really like you too but, all of a sudden you like me right after you broke up with Alle." He looks at me and stands up and said," I know Alex, I am sorry it was stupid to come here, I am sorry I came here, I am gonna go now." And I just look at him walk and nothing can come out of my mouth. I really want to say stop but my body wouldn't let me. Niall turns around and looks at my face and runs up and kisses me. I push him back confused and said," Niall! What are you doing?" He looks at me and said," I really do like you Alex, I really want to call you my girlfriend, I want you all to myself, Alex, please?" I just looked at him amazed, did he just ask me out? I stuttered and said," Um, I...I don't know what you mean..." He looks at me and said," Will you go out with me Alex?" I just look at him and think, did we not have that long conversation like two minutes ago? I finally said," Niall, you know I would love to but, I just can't because, you just got out of a relationship and I don't want Alle even more mad at me than now." And he just looks at me and said," Well, if you really wanted me you wouldn't care about anybody else's opinion." I just look at him and think, did he really just say that? I said," Well, Niall, its different for a girl than a guy, I am sorry." I start to walk inside and Niall said," Wait Alex, can I please talk to you more, you just make me feel like myself and I really like it." I just look at him and said," Sure." Then I said," Do you want to come inside?" Niall said," Sure." Niall walks inside and the first thing we see is my mom!
