My weapon of choice would probable be some kind of melee item. Most likely a bat or shovel of some kind, I don't know how good I would be at stabbing something. But who knows what they would really do in a zombie situation though?
You can say you'll be kick-ass and take down every zombie in your path but who's to say you're not going to be one of the first people infected with the virus and turn into a zombie yourself? So I don't know if my feelings will change and I will be able to stab a zombie in the eye or I'll just hit it with my shovel a couple of times.
Also we don't have many guns in Australia like the USA so I wouldn't even know where to get one let alone use it without shooting myself in the foot. And with zombies you have to be pretty accurate otherwise they'll still get you and you lose the element of surprise.
