They got in their rooms and they were very disappointed. They were both mad and sad at the same time. The kids shared a room so they were talking about how sad they were. Just then their mother walked in. She told them "I'm sorry guys I thought that we would get a new puppy today too. " They asked if they could get a puppy tomorrow morning but a a closer place. Mom said yes and so they looked up other puppy or animal adoption places and they found the perfect one.
This one is only 10 minutes away from our house!! Let's go there! The mother agreed. The kids brushed their teeth and got ready for bed. " Lets put on a movie." The sister said. "Ok." The brother said. So they put on a move and fell asleep.
