I hold my tongue And hope that someone just understands.

I keep silent and don't say what I mean.

I swallow my words because I don't want to hurt you.

I shut my mouth because I don't want you to hear my screams of agony and sorrow.

I paint on a huge smile to dam back a flood of emotions...
